Abstract

Apparatus for controlling the operation of a lift by means of the automatic interaction of fixed devices 2 placed in the area of access to the lift and/or in the lift cabin 4 with devices 3 carried by the user, the said fixed devices 2, 4 being able to generate an electromagnetic detection field, of sufficient power to energise the said devices 3 carried by the user which have no internal power source and contain a series of coded data and are able to vary the power absorbed from the said detection field, the said devices 2, 4, fitted with a transmitter/sensor antenna, are also able to recognize and decode the data from the devices 3 by measuring the type and variation of the power dissipated in the detection field; control devices 1 are also provided to control the lift system according to the data obtained from decoding the devices 3. <IMAGE>
