Description
The present invention relates to a solvent composition, and more specifically, a contaminant (oil, grease, grease, etc.) present on the surface of precision parts such as mechanical, electronic, and electrical parts, and the surface of jigs and tools used in the assembly process of precision parts. The present invention relates to a solvent composition suitable for washing and removing a flux and the like and suitable for dissolving paints, inks, adhesives and the like.
Conventionally, cleaning agents containing fluorocarbons and chlorinated solvents have been used for cleaning precision parts such as machinery, electronics, and electrical parts. However, in recent years, environmental pollution has been caused by problems such as safety, toxicity, and environmental pollution. Switching to a small and highly safe cleaning agent is performed, and an isoparaffinic solvent is one of the highly safe cleaning agents. In recent years, regulations on VOCs (volatile organic compounds) have become stricter as environmental regulations, but the paint industry has also introduced voluntary regulations and is working to reduce solvents.
Isoparaffins have the advantage of not only high safety but also low odor, and are widely used as a component of cleaning agents, but due to their low dissolving power, there are also limited soil components that can be removed by cleaning. . Moreover, although glycol ethers are also used as a component of the cleaning agent, there has been a problem that the cleaning property of fat and oil stains is poor.
As a cleaning agent containing isoparaffins and improving flux cleaning power after soldering, water is added to a combination of 70 to 99.9% by weight of hydrogenated olefin oligomer and 0.1 to 30% by weight of a surfactant. A cleaning agent added at 001 to 5% by weight has been proposed (for example, see Patent Document 1). Further, as a detergent containing glycol ethers, a nonionic surfactant having 5 to 85% by weight of a hydrocarbon having 10 to 18 carbon atoms, 1 to 80% by weight of a polyalkylene glycol C1 to C4 alkyl ether, and an average HLB of 3 to 18 is used. A cleaning agent containing 0.5 to 35% by weight and 5 to 30% by weight of water has been proposed (for example, see Patent Document 2).
However, these cleaning agents require the addition of a surfactant and water, and although they have a certain effect in removing polar substances such as solder flux, From the viewpoint of recycling the cleaning solvent, there is a problem that it does not meet its purpose.
On the other hand, as a coating solvent, an aromatic solvent has been generally used so far because it has excellent dissolving power and drying property. However, nowadays, non-aromatic solvents that replace aromatic solvents are required from the viewpoint of odor and safety. As the non-aromatic solvent, isoparaffins were promising candidates, but they were used only for limited resins because of their low dissolving power.
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and is excellent in cleaning and removing power against dirt substances (oils and fats, grease, flux, etc.) and a small amount when dissolving a resin used in paints, inks, adhesives, etc. It is an object of the present invention to provide a solvent composition capable of dissolving them by use of the above.
As a result of intensive studies to solve the above problems, the present inventors use a composition in which an isoparaffin having a boiling point in a specific range and a specific propylene glycol ether compound are combined in a specific quantitative ratio. And oils, greases, fluxes, resins (compounding ingredients such as paints, inks, adhesives, etc.) etc. are easily dissolved, and the viscosity is lower than when isoparaffin or propylene glycol ether compound is used alone. I found. A low viscosity when dissolving the oils and fats is suitable as a cleaning agent, and means that the liquid from the object to be cleaned is good. The present invention has been completed based on such findings.
That is, the present invention provides the following solvent composition.
1. Isoparaffin 40-60 mass% which has the boiling point in the range of 150-280 degreeC in a normal pressure, and the following general formula (A)
The solvent composition characterized by including the combination of 60-40 mass% of propylene glycol ether type compounds represented by these.
2. 2. The solvent composition as described in 1 above, which is used for cleaning flux or fat.
3. 2. The solvent composition according to 1 above, which is used for dissolving paint, ink or adhesive.
Since the solvent composition of the present invention has a low viscosity at the time of dissolution of flux or the like, the liquid from the object to be cleaned is good, and the cleaning effect on fine parts is also good. Moreover, when the coating material etc. which use resin as a compounding component are dissolved in the solvent composition of this invention, since resin can be made low-viscosity by use of a small quantity, a volatile matter can be reduced. Therefore, it can greatly contribute to the high solidification of the paint.
The solvent composition of the present invention contains isoparaffin and a propylene glycol ether compound. As the isoparaffin, those having a boiling point in the range of 150 to 280 ° C. at normal pressure are used. By using isoparaffin having a boiling point in this range, there is an advantage that distillation recovery is easy and loss due to evaporation of the solvent is small.
The propylene glycol ether compound used in the present invention has the following general formula (A)

These may be used individually by 1 type, and may be used in combination of 2 or more types.
The solvent composition of the present invention contains a combination of 40 to 60% by mass of the isoparaffin and 60 to 40% by mass of the propylene glycol ether compound. By using such a combination, the average molecular weight of the solvent composition Becomes 105-240. When the content of isoparaffin is 40 to 60% by mass, there is an advantage that the detergency of the flux and naphthenic mineral oil is good and the viscosity at the time of dissolving the resin is low.
