Abstract
【解決手段】セラミックス製放電管の内壁の輪郭が長さL(cm)および内側半径R(cm)の真っ直ぐな1つの筒形中央部分並びにそれと同一半径Rの半球の2つの終端部分を有し、筒形中央部分の長さLがその内側半径Rの1/3より大きいか等しく、さらにその内側半径Rの0.8倍より小さいか等しく{1/3R(cm)≦L(cm)≦0.8R(cm)}、放電管の内長(2R+L)が電極間隔EA(cm)より少なくとも10%大きく{(2R+L)(cm)≧1.1EA(cm)}、放電管の直径2Rが電極間隔EAの少なくとも80%に相当し電極間隔EAの最大で150%の長さ{1.5EA(cm)≧2R(cm)≧0.8EA(cm)}であるようにする。

Claims (1)
- セラミックス製放電管の内壁の輪郭が発光封入物を含む内室を規定し、この内室が1つの長軸並びに開口付きの2つの端部を有し、これらの開口に導電性のリード(17)が気密にはめ込まれ、これらのリード(17)がそれぞれ電極(7)に導電的に接続され、これらの両電極(7)が内室内に電極間隔EA(cm)を隔てて対向して配置され、セラミックスがアルミニウムの酸化物または窒化物からなる高圧放電ランプにおいて、
放電管の内壁の輪郭が以下の幾何学的形状、即ち輪郭が長さL(cm)および内側半径R(cm)の真っ直ぐな1つの筒形中央部分(2)並びにそれと同一半径R(cm)の半球の2つの終端部分(3)を有し、
筒形中央部分(2)の長さL(cm)がその内側半径R(cm)の1/3より大きいか等しく、さらにその内側半径R(cm)の0.8倍より小さいか等しく{1/3R(cm)≦L(cm)≦0.8R(cm)}、
放電管の内長(2R+L)(cm)が電極間隔EA(cm)より少なくとも10%大きく{(2R+L)(cm)≧1.1EA(cm)}、
