In the present specification, a numerical range represented by using “to” means a range including numerical values described before and after “to” as a lower limit value and an upper limit value. Moreover, the figure in this invention is a schematic diagram, and the magnitude | size, positional relationship, etc. of each member do not necessarily correspond with an actual thing.

As a feature of the present invention, a plurality of conductors are arranged between a pair of opposing electrodes so as to be separated in a direction in which the pair of electrodes face each other, and an AC voltage is applied to the electrodes. It is done. By performing such treatment, conductive polymer fibers are generated from the surface of the conductor, and the conductors are connected to form a conductive composite having a network structure. The reason why such a conductive composite is obtained is considered as follows.
First, as shown in FIG. 1A, when a voltage is applied with the conductor 18 placed between a pair of electrodes (14A and 14B), the cathode side surface of the conductor 18 becomes an anode (+). The surface of the conductor 18 on the anode side behaves as a cathode (-). That is, the surface of the conductor 18 is polarized by the bipolar phenomenon, and becomes an electrode (bipolar electrode) that can be used for electrolytic polymerization. In addition, the said aspect arises when the electrode 14A acts as an anode and the electrode 14B acts as a cathode. In the state as described above, electropolymerization of the monomer of the conductive polymer proceeds on the electrode 14B side of the conductor 18, and the fiber of the conductive polymer (hereinafter also simply referred to as “conductive polymer fiber”). Is generated.
In the present invention, an alternating voltage is applied. Therefore, the cathode and the anode are alternately replaced with time. More specifically, when a predetermined time elapses from the state of FIG. 1A, as shown in FIG. 1B, the electrode 14A acts as a cathode and the electrode 14B acts as an anode. In this case, the surface on the electrode 14A side of the conductor 18 behaves as an anode (+), and the surface on the electrode 14B side of the conductor 18 behaves as a cathode (-). Therefore, electropolymerization of the monomer of the conductive polymer proceeds on the electrode 14A side of the conductor 18, and a conductive polymer fiber is generated.
That is, when an AC voltage is applied to the electrodes 14A and 14B, the conductive polymer fiber 22 is generated from both surfaces of the conductor 18 and extends to the electrode side as shown in FIG. By disposing a plurality of conductors between the electrodes, the above phenomenon proceeds in each conductor, and as a result, the conductive polymer fibers are connected (entangled) to form a network structure. Hereinafter, a bipolar phenomenon that occurs using an AC voltage as described above is also referred to as an “AC bipolar phenomenon”.
The reason why the conductive polymer fiber 22 extends in a certain direction is that the strongest potential is generated at the tip of the conductive polymer fiber 22 generated by the bipolar phenomenon. It is assumed that the conductive polymer is continuously generated.

In addition, it is preferable that it is an insulating base material from the point which is hard to be influenced by an alternating voltage.
Moreover, although the conductor 18 is being fixed on the base material 16, the fixing method in particular is not restrict | limited, For example, the method of providing the adhesiveness to the base-material surface and fixing the conductor 18 is mentioned. In addition, as a method of giving adhesiveness to the above base material surfaces, there exists a method of sticking a double-sided adhesive tape on a base material, for example.
In addition, although the aspect which arrange | positions the conductor 18 on the base material 16 was described in FIG. 2, you may arrange | position the conductor 18 directly on the bottom face of the electrolytic polymerization tank 12 without using a base material. In that case, you may fix the conductor 18 to the bottom face of the electrolytic polymerization tank 12 via a double-sided adhesive tape as needed.

From the viewpoint that the production of the conductive composite proceeds more efficiently, 1 -300V is preferable and 10-200V is more preferable.
Although the time for applying the AC voltage is not particularly limited, it is preferably 10 seconds to 5 hours, more preferably 1 minute to 1 hour, from the viewpoint that productivity and production of the conductive composite proceed more efficiently.
The waveform shape of the AC voltage is not particularly limited, and may be any of a rectangular wave, a sine wave, a triangular wave, a sawtooth shape, and the like.

By carrying out the above procedure, a conductive composite including a conductor and a conductive polymer fiber that connects the conductors is obtained.
The conductive polymer fiber is a fiber composed of a conductive polymer, and a plurality of conductive polymers are bundled to form a fiber.
The average diameter of the conductive polymer fiber is not particularly limited, but is often 0.01 to 50 μm, more often 0.05 to 10 μm.
As a method for measuring the average diameter of the conductive polymer fiber, the diameter (diameter) of any two or more conductive polymer fibers is measured and arithmetically averaged.
The length of the conductive polymer fiber is not particularly limited and varies depending on the distance of the conductor. However, the length is often 0.1 to 3000 μm and more often 1 to 1000 μm due to manufacturing conditions.
Note that there may be a plurality of conductive polymer fibers for connecting the conductors. That is, a plurality of conductive polymer fibers may extend from one conductor.
The shape of the conductive polymer fiber is not particularly limited, and examples thereof include a straight line shape, a branched chain shape, and a tree shape.
The conductive polymer fibers may be connected while being entangled between the conductors.

In the above-described embodiment shown in FIG. 2, a conductive composite including a base material, a conductor disposed on the base material, and a conductive polymer fiber that connects the conductor is obtained. That is, in the obtained conductive composite, the conductive polymer fiber spreads along the surface of the base material, and a conductive layer that extends two-dimensionally is formed by the conductor and the conductive polymer fiber.
Note that the conductive composite of the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, and the conductive composite of another embodiment can be obtained by controlling the arrangement of the conductor disposed between the pair of electrodes. Specifically, as shown in the electropolymerization apparatus 100 of FIG. 3, a binder matrix 30 in which a conductor 18 is dispersed is disposed between a pair of electrodes 14A and 14B, and the above-described processing is performed. Thus, the conductive polymer monomer that has entered the binder matrix 30 is polymerized to form conductive polymer fibers that connect the conductors 18 dispersed and distributed in the binder matrix 30. That is, a conductive composite including a binder matrix, conductors dispersed and distributed in the binder matrix, and conductive polymer fibers connecting the conductors is obtained.
The kind of binder matrix used is not particularly limited, and for example, a polymer matrix having a crosslinked structure (so-called polymer gel having a three-dimensional crosslinked structure) is preferably used. The kind of the polymer constituting the polymer matrix is not particularly limited, and a known polymer is used.
In the embodiment shown in FIG. 3, the conductive polymer fiber can be generated by applying an alternating voltage to the electrode while changing the arrangement of the binder matrix 30. That is, as shown in FIG. 4A, after the binder matrix 30 is arranged between the pair of electrodes 14A and 14B and an AC voltage is applied, the binder matrix 30 is placed in the direction of the arrow shown in FIG. You may rotate 90 degree | times and may apply an alternating voltage further by positional relationship as shown in FIG.4 (B). In this way, by applying an alternating voltage while changing the arrangement of the binder matrix (for example, while rotating it), the conductors that are three-dimensionally distributed and distributed in the binder matrix are connected by conductive polymer fibers. It becomes easy.
