Further, a frit material containing lead is known as a frit that can be baked at a lower temperature, but it is feared that the frit material will be toxic to manufacturing operators and product users.

As a result of the investigation, it was found that the above object can be achieved by incorporating a specific metal oxide into the phosphate glass.

It is suitable to employ about 10% by weight. When the amount used is less than the above range, gray coloring cannot be effectively prevented, and when the amount exceeds the above range, the metal oxide may hinder the fusion of the glass frit due to the heat treatment. None of them are preferable because they exist.

If the phosphoric acid content is less than the above range, crystallization tends to occur during firing of the glass frit and a smooth coating cannot be formed. On the contrary, if it exceeds the above range, the water resistance of the glass frit becomes insufficient, or firing is performed. Both are not preferable because the temperature may be too high. And, when 60 to 75 mol% of P 2 O 5 is adopted within these ranges, it is particularly preferable because a film having a high gloss and a smooth water resistance can be formed at a low temperature.
