本発明の目的は、ハードコピー装置内の給紙ローラの

紙台と、前記記録紙を前記給紙台から搬送するための回
転伝達部材と、前記回転伝達部材とともに前記記録紙を
挟持し、前記記録紙を前記回転伝達部材に搬送可能に押
圧させる押圧部材とを有するハードコピー装置におい
て、前記給紙台の前記記録紙が収納される位置に保持可
能で、このとき前記回転伝達部材と対向する部分に前記
回転伝達部材に対して圧接可能にクリーニング部が配置
されてなるクリーニング部材が、前記給紙台に装置外部
から着脱自在に収納可能とされてなる構成とする。ま
た、前記クリーニング部材のクリーニング部は、前記回
転伝達部材に対して圧接、離間を複数回繰り返されてな

することにより、付着した汚れを除去できる。また、ク
リーニング部を有するクリーニング部材を、装置の外部
より取り入れ、取り出し可能としたことにより、クリー
ニング部の清掃が可能となり、クリーニング効果が向上

ム11の動きにより、通常の給紙動作では記録紙を給紙ロ
ーラ4に圧着させるが、クリーニング動作においては、
図示のように、クリーニングチップ2を圧着させる。上
下アーム11は上下ギア10−1,10−2を介しモータ15によ
り駆動される。ロータリエコーダ6、紙検出器7−1,7
−2の出力は制御回路12に入力している。制御回路12に
は動作スイッチ13が接続しており、動作スイッチ13をON

に貼付けられたクリーニングチップ2は、給紙ローラ4
の回転により給紙方向に動く力を受けるが、給紙台9に
よりベース1は給紙台9によりその動きを停止させら
れ、したがってクリーニングチップ2も停止している。
給紙ローラ4は回転をつづけるので、クリーニングチッ
プ2にこすられて、表面の汚れが除去される。制御回路
12は給紙モータ5がONになってからの回転量を回転量検
出器6の信号により計数し、一定回転量までに紙検出器
7−2が紙を検出しないと、異常と判断し給紙動作を停
止する。この場合も紙検出器7−2まで反射シート3が
搬送されることはないので一定回転ののち動作は停止す
る。異常の動作により、給紙ローラ4表面の汚れは除去
され、汚れによるまさつ係数の低下による給紙動作不良
を防止することができる。また本実施例特有の効果とし
て、制御回路及びハードコピー装置に対する改造が必要

位置にクリーニング部材を保持可能としたことにより、
通常のコピー操作をすると自動的に、クリーニング部材
のクリーニング部が回転伝達部材に圧接離間を複数回く
り返すため、手軽にかつ確実に、回転伝達部材のクリー
ニングが出来る。また、クリーニング部を有するクリー
ニング部材を、装置外部より取り入れ、取り出し可能と
したことにより、クリーニグ部の清掃が可能となり、よ
