(Operation) The present invention is configured as described above, and the guide member protruding forward from the excavator body is inserted into the existing pipe,
The roller of each guide device is brought into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the guide member,
Next, the cutter rotation drive motor is started, the rotation is transmitted to the cutter device, and the cutter device is rotated about the central axis of the excavator body, and between the excavator body and the new aft pipe behind it. The inserted propulsion jack is operated in the extension direction to advance the excavator body, the guide member, and each guide device, and the cutter device crushes the existing conduit from its end, and The soil is excavated, and the crushed and excavated debris and the excavated soil are dropped onto the soil discharging device, and then the soil discharging device conveys the soil behind the excavating device. At this time, each guide device is operated in the expansion / contraction direction to change the position of the guide member in the existing pipe to control the direction of the excavating device body that is being crushed and excavated while advancing as described above. In addition, the drainage pipe drains fluid such as sewage flowing in the existing drainage pipe to the rear of the excavator body. In addition, as the excavator body moves forward, a new pipe is installed behind the excavator body.

(Effects of the Invention) The present invention inserts the guide member projecting forward from the excavator body into the existing pipe as described above, and the rollers of each guide device are brought into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the guide member. The turning drive motor is started, the rotation is transmitted to the cutter device, the cutter device is rotated about the central axis of the excavator body, and the excavator body is inserted between the excavator body and a new pipe conduit behind it. The propulsion jack is operated in the extension direction to advance the excavator body, the guide member, and each guide device, and the cutter device crushes the existing pipe conduit from its end, and the soil around the existing pipe conduit is also crushed. Excavation, crushing, excavated debris, and excavated soil are dropped onto the soil discharging device, and then transported to the rear of the excavating device by the soil discharging device. In addition, as the excavator main unit moves forward, a new pipe is laid behind the excavator main unit, so it is possible to mechanically and efficiently replace the existing pipe, shortening the construction period and reducing the construction cost. Can be reduced.
