2. Description of the Related Art It has heretofore been widely known to dye hair using an oxidative hair dye containing a dyeing component such as pyrogallol or gallic acid. And, this utilizes the fact that the dyeing component such as pyrogallol is oxidized to turn dark brown. However, in the conventional hair dyeing method, after applying a hair dye to the hair, an oxidizing dyeing component such as pyrogallol or gallic acid is exposed to the air to cause an oxidative reaction and discolor, so that the color change reaction is completely performed. There is a problem that it takes several hours to finish and it is not possible to perform a quick hair dyeing treatment.

The hair dye used in the present invention is basically an oxidizing dyeing component such as pyrogallol, gallic acid or gallic acid ester, and one of a ferrous compound and a ferric compound as a coloring aid. Alternatively, a mixture of two or more kinds, and a single or a mixture of two or more kinds of inorganic acid or organic acid as an antioxidant, a reducing agent such as ascorbic acid, or a compound thereof is added to form an aqueous solution. In addition to the above-mentioned components, one of the chlorides of ammonia, bromides, iodides, and salts of inorganic oxygen acids is further used as a metal of the electrolyte.
One kind or a mixture of two or more kinds is added, which has a function of promoting electrolysis and promoting electrooxidation of the hair dye, as described later. Further, when the hair dye is applied to the hair, a viscous agent such as hydroxyethyl cellulose is added to impart an appropriate viscosity to the hair dye so that the hair dye maintains a sufficient adhesion state to the hair. It is also preferable to keep it. Further, one or more mixtures of nonionic or anionic surfactants, solvents for promoting penetration into hair, and other oily ingredients, preservatives, fragrances, lubricants, moisturizers, or treatments. If necessary, effective components can be added.

The present invention is characterized in that the above-mentioned hair dye is applied to hair by a conventional method, and then a current is applied to the hair dye to cause electrooxidation to develop a color. Explaining by way of example, for example, when an aqueous dye prepared by diluting pyrogallol, which is an oxidizing dyeing component, with ferrous chloride and sodium chloride into an aqueous solution is used, it is possible to apply In the presence of ferrous chloride and sodium chloride, the hair dye is electrolyzed, and PH is increased at the negative electrode to become alkaline and promote the oxidation of pyrogallol which is an oxidizing dyeing component. On the other hand, since chlorine is generated at the anode, the system tends to be inclined in the direction of oxidation. As a result, the oxidation of pyrogallol, which is a dyeing component, is promoted, and it becomes possible to change the color to dark brown in a short period of time. Become.

Next, a device for performing hair dyeing treatment by electro-oxidation as described above will be described. The drawings show an example of an apparatus for performing hair dyeing treatment. In the drawing, 1 is a base portion made of an insulating material such as synthetic resin and connected to the tip of the handle portion, and 2a and 2b are the base portions. 1 is a large number of tooth portions planted at a required interval. Tooth 2a,
2b are arranged in a straight line on the base 1, and the base of the tooth 2a is electrically connected to the anode side of the battery as the power source 3 built in the base 1 and the base of the tooth 2b. Is electrically connected to the cathode side to form a single row of the anode side tooth section row and the cathode side tooth section row, and a comb tooth shape is formed between the anode side tooth section row and the cathode side tooth section row. The insulating material 4 is interposed. Further, the insulating material 4 is slightly longer than the length of the teeth 2a, 2b so that the teeth 2a, 2b do not come into direct contact with the scalp when the grip is used. In the drawing, the two rows of teeth 2a, 2
Although a gap is provided between b, it is of course possible to adopt a structure in which they are in close contact with each other with the insulating material 4 interposed therebetween, or to use a normal household power supply as the power supply.

In such a device, when the hair dye is applied to the hair, the grip portion is gripped and the power source 3 is turned on to prepare the hair, the hair located between the tooth portions 2a and 2b is dyed. The reaction will be carried out quickly. That is, originally, the hair itself is a non-conductive material, but the current flows between the tooth row of the anode side and the tooth row of the cathode side by conducting electricity through the hair dye adhering to the hair surface. Is electrolyzed to promote electrooxidation of pyrogallol which is a hair dyeing component. As a result,
The color change reaction of the hair dye to dark brown can be carried out in a short time, and the hair dyeing treatment time can be greatly shortened.

The above-mentioned hair-dying device may be a comb-shaped device as shown in FIGS. 4 to 5, in addition to the comb-shaped device described above. In this case, for example, for each row. The tooth portion on the anode side and the tooth portion on the cathode side may be formed and the insulating material 4 may be interposed between these tooth portions.
