[Background Art] Conventionally, an intercom subunit with a monitor camera of this type is
It is composed of a monitor camera that uses a solid-state image sensor such as a CCD image sensor and a MOS image sensor, and an intercom circuit. The monitor image captured by the monitor camera is displayed on the monitor TV to confirm the visitor. ing. Further, in order to deal with the visitors at night, as shown in FIG. 7, a light emitting diode 2 for auxiliary illumination is provided on the side of the image pickup lens 7 of the monitor camera 3, and the light emitted from the light emitting diode 2 is provided to the visitor. There has been one having a so-called night-vision function in which the reflected light is irradiated and detected by the solid-state imaging device 1. By the way, in such a conventional example, an infrared transmission filter 6 having a small visible light transmittance and a large infrared transmittance is attached to a monitor window in order to prevent a visitor from recognizing that the auxiliary illumination light is emitted. Although visible light was cut off, in general, a monitor image by near infrared rays has an unnatural image in which contrast is increased and black is emphasized. For example, in the case of a face, a real image in which a beard is emphasized is There was a problem that the image would be greatly different. In the figure, the shaded arrows indicate infrared rays and the white arrows indicate visible light. That is, as the infrared transmission filter 6, a smoke acrylic filter having a transmission characteristic as shown in FIG. 8 (a), a sharp cut filter having a transmission characteristic as shown in FIG. 8 (b), etc. are used. Since the visible light incident on the solid-state image sensor 1 is also largely cut by the infrared transmission filter 6, the reflection of visible light of daytime sunlight or the illumination light of night illumination by a street light and a street lamp is largely cut. Even if the surroundings are bright, the monitor image taken by the solid-state imaging device 1 becomes an infrared image with enhanced contrast, and there is a problem that the image quality is significantly deteriorated.

DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION (Embodiment 1) FIGS. 1 to 3 show an embodiment of the present invention, which is a solid-state image pickup device such as a CCD image pickup device or a MOS image pickup device having sensitivity to near infrared light or visible light. A monitor camera 3 including a light emitting diode 2 for auxiliary illumination using the element 1, and a doorphone circuit 4
And a solid-state image sensor 1 and a light emitting diode 2
In the intercom sub-unit in which the infrared transmission filter 6 is attached to the monitor window 5 provided corresponding to, the portion corresponding to the solid-state image sensor 1 of the infrared transmission filter 6 (the portion corresponding to the imaging lens 7 in the embodiment). The visible light transmitting portion 6a is formed on the. The shaded portion in FIG. 3 indicates a portion (visible light cut) through which only infrared rays are transmitted. Here, the monitor camera 3 and the intercom circuit 4 using the solid-state image sensor 1 are provided in the housing 8, and the monitor window 5 corresponding to the monitor camera 3 is provided in the front plate 9 which is attached to the front surface of the housing 8. ing. Further, the speaker 11, the microphone 12, the call switch 13 and the like which compose the doorphone circuit 4 are provided in the lower portion of the housing 8, and a mounting piece 14 projecting from the side surface of the housing 8 is attached to a mounting frame or an embedded box. The front plate 9 is attached to a mounting frame or an embedded box by a mounting screw.
4 and 5 show a specific structure of the infrared transmitting filter 6, and in the case of FIG. 4, the light absorbing film 31 which transmits infrared rays and cuts visible light is provided with a transparent synthetic resin plate. Alternatively, the infrared transmitting filter 6 is formed by adhering it to the peripheral portion of the base material 30 such as a glass plate, and the central portion where the light absorbing film 31 is not adhered is the visible light transmitting portion 6a. Further, in the structure shown in FIG. 5, the thickness of the light-colored smoke base material 32 is changed to change the transmission amount of visible light, and the infrared transmission filter 6 is formed. The light transmitting portion 6a is used.

The operation of the embodiment will be described below. Now, in the present embodiment, the fixed image sensor 1 of the infrared transmission filter 6
The visible light transmitting portion 6a is provided in the portion corresponding to, and the portion corresponding to the light emitting diode 2 does not transmit visible light as in the conventional example, so that the auxiliary illumination light can be made inconspicuous. . On the other hand, since visible light and infrared light are incident on the solid-state imaging device 1 through the visible light transmitting portion 6a, the monitor image when the surroundings are bright is mainly a visible light image due to reflection of visible light. As in the example, an infrared image in which the contrast is emphasized does not occur, and the image quality of the monitor image is improved when the daytime sunlight or night illumination is sufficient. Since the amount of light incident on the solid-state image sensor 1 is larger than that of the conventional example, the image quality of the monitor image can be further improved.

Now, in the present embodiment, when the surrounding brightness is bright enough to be photographed by the solid-state image sensor 1, the light emitting diode 2 is turned off by the automatic blinking circuit 26 so that unnecessary infrared illumination is not performed. As a result, a monitor image can be obtained only by illumination with visible light, that is, with ambient light, and the contrast enhancement by infrared illumination can be reduced to prevent image quality deterioration, and a natural monitor close to a real image can be obtained. An image will be obtained.
