(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) In a transparent tablet manufactured by etching the above-described conventional transparent conductive film, the resistance value of the transparent electrode is high, and vapor deposition is performed to reduce the resistance value of the transparent electrode. Since the metal must be gold (Au) and must be arranged thickly, there is a problem that the price becomes high and the transparency of the tablet is lowered.

(Means for Solving Problems) The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and is a tablet for an input device that outputs coordinate data of a point specified by an indicator such as a stylus or a cursor. Thus, the present invention proposes a transparent tablet consisting of a matrix electrode wire which is obtained by etching a copper foil on a transparent insulating substrate and a lead wire which is connected and printed with an end portion of the matrix electrode wire.

(Example) Hereinafter, the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. FIG. 1 illustrates an etching pattern, in which copper foil attached to both surfaces of an insulating substrate 1 made of an insulating transparent material such as acrylic, polyester, or polycarbonate is orthogonal to the upper and lower electrode patterns 2 and 3. Etching is performed on the coordinate axes as described above. At this time, since the width of the electrode patterns 2 and 3 can be almost doubled as much as the thickness of the copper foil by the etching technology of the copper foil, for example, the thickness of the copper foil can be reduced to 1/2.
The width of the electrode patterns 2 and 3 is 35 when set to 1 ounce (17.5 μm).
μm can be realized. When the electrode patterns 2 and 3 are formed into a double-sided matrix with a predetermined space (5 mm in this embodiment), the electrode patterns 2 and 3 have a small transparency and thus have a sufficient transparency. it can. Further, in order to reduce the influence on the transparency of the electrode patterns 2 and 3, tin, silver or white plating is applied, and the effect of further improving the transparency can be exhibited. The electrode patterns 2 and 3 of the tablet described above are not limited to the orthogonal directions, but when the pattern layout is complicated or through-hole processing is performed like a general printed circuit board, the electrode patterns 2 and 3 are reduced in size due to their thinness. If it is cut or if the widths of the electrode patterns 2 and 3 are extremely different, the yield is significantly reduced. Therefore, in the present invention, the lead lines from the electrode patterns 2 and 3 are formed by pattern printing as shown in FIG. (For convenience of explanation, the etching line is shown by a solid line and the printed wiring is shown by a broken line.) The tablet of the present invention adopts a block method as a detection method. This method is performed by blocking a predetermined number of electrode patterns 2 or 3 as signal electrode lines, as one example is shown in Japanese Patent Application No. 59-182370 (Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 61-60117) previously filed by the present applicant. It is divided (A and B in FIG. 2), first the coordinate position in block units is detected, and then the coordinate position in the specified block is detected.
In this tablet divided into blocks, the signal electrode lines and the block electrode lines must be arranged alternately as shown in FIG. 2, and the matrix electrode lines 4 and the lead lines 5 intersect.

Here, the matrix electrode wires 4 and the lead wires 5 are connected to each other at the intersections (portions connected to the back surface of the substrate and the electric drops), and are insulated at the intersections. The resist ink is printed on the matrix electrode lines 4 in a pattern having holes (holes), dried, and then the lead lines 5 are printed and wired with conductive ink.
As shown in FIG. 3, the contact portion is filled with conductive ink in the holes, and leads 5 and matrix lines 4 are formed.
Are electrically connected. Electrode pattern 3 on the back side
It can be produced in the same manner by pattern-etching the matrix lines and printing the lead lines.

(Effects of the Invention) Since the present invention has the above-described configuration, it is possible to improve the transparency of the transparent tablet, improve the yield, and set the resistance value of the electrode wire to be low, and the cost is lower than that of the conventional product. It can be reduced.
