修用樹脂の樹脂量は、ピグを既設配管内に挿入して補修
作業を開始するときに、予め補修対象区間の管内面にラ
イニングする使用量に見合った量をプールして供給して
おき、この補修用樹脂の全量をピグで押動しつつ管内面
をライニングするようにしている。

以下、図面を参照して本発明の実施例について説明す
る。 図において、符号1は地下に埋設された補修対象の既
設管(水道管)であり、在来の配管方式により所定寸法
の鋳鉄管を管継手部2により接続して長く配管されてい
る。この既設管1および管継手部2は、配管上を通行す
る車両の荷重や地震、あるいは経年による土層変化、腐
食等で変化して間隙が生じたり、また、内面に赤さびが
発生して全体的に劣化したりして漏水や赤水の原因にな
るところから、その漏水修理または予防保全の目的で、
管内面から後述する補修用樹脂Pを全体にわたってライ
ニングするのである。この補修作業に当り、既設管1を
まず補修に適する長さの補修区間Lに区切って、その一
方の分離端3を地上に開口した作業坑Aに、他方の分離
端4を同じく地上に開口した作業坑Bにそれぞれ露出
し、これら分離端3,4にピグ挿入用導管5、ピグ導出用
導管6を接続する。 そして、ピグ挿入用導管5から、後述するツインホー
ス7を既設管1の管内を通してピグ導出用導管6から引
き出し、このツインホース7の先端を作業台車に搭載さ
れたウインチ8により巻取ることによって、ツインホー
ス7中に設けられたワイヤ9の端末部に取付けられた樹
脂プール型のピグ10が牽引移動されるようになってい
る。 上記ピグ10は、球状をしたピグ本体11の外周部に、進
行方向中心から放射方向に突出する複数の案内羽根12を
有している。また、ピグ10の先端の樹脂接触面には、樹
脂圧を感知して圧力変換するセンサーとしての圧力変換
器13が設けられ、この圧力変換器13で変換された樹脂圧
を既設管1の外部に取出すリード線14がワイヤ9に沿っ
て前方に延びている。 上記ツインホース7には、ピグ10の前側に取付けられ
たワイヤ9を介してピグ10と一定の間隔をおいてスタテ
ィックミキサー15が連結され、このミキサー15の先端側
にY字管16が接続され、このY字管16の2つに分離され
た管にそれぞれ高圧チューブ17が接続されている。そし
て、ツインホース7は、これらワイヤ9、リード線14、
高圧チューブ17,17を一体的に可撓性部材で被包して一
本に形成され、前述のようにウインチ8に取られるよう
になっている。 ウインチ8を搭載した作業台車には、樹脂ポンプ18お
よび制御装置19が設けられ、樹脂ポンプ18は主剤、硬化
剤からなる2液速硬化性樹脂を上記高圧チューブ17,17
に別々に送り出すべく接続されており、また、制御装置
19は、圧力変換器13によって感知した樹脂圧によって樹
脂ポンプ18の樹脂送出量を制御し、スタティックミキサ
ー15により混合されてピグ10の前側に供給されるプール
樹脂Pの樹脂長lが一定になるよう制御する。 一方、作業坑Aの近傍には作業台車に搭載された樹脂
注入機20が配置され、この樹脂注入機20から補修作業開
始時にピグ10の前側に所定量の樹脂が注入されるように
してある。 このような構成の既設配管の管内面補修装置を用いて
補修作業を行うときは、まずツインホース7を既設管1
中に挿通し、ピグ10を第1図の左端部に示すようピグ挿
入用導管5から導入し、樹脂注入機20から2液速硬化性
の混合樹脂をプール樹脂Pとして樹脂長lになるまで注
入し、ツインホース7をウインチ8で巻取りつつピグ10
が既設管1内を移動し、プール樹脂Pを押動しながらピ
グ本体11の外周と管内面とのクリアランス、即ち、案内
羽根12の高さ範囲の厚さで樹脂をライニングする。 この樹脂ライニングによって消費されたプール樹脂P
は、その樹脂圧が変化し、この変化を圧力変換器13が感
知し、リード線14によって制御装置19にもたらされて樹
脂ポンプ18の作動を制御する。樹脂ポンプ18からの2液
速硬化性樹脂は、高圧チューブ17,17を介してY字管16
に送られ、ミキサー15によって混合されてピグ10の前方

る量を制御して、補修用樹脂が常にほぼ一定量を維持す
るようにしたので、ピグが補修対象管の始端から終端ま
で移動する間に補修用樹脂がピグに対しほぼ所定圧で作
用し、全管内面に対し一定の条件で樹脂がライニングさ
れて確実な補修作業が行われる。 また、樹脂は2液末混合の状態で高圧チューブを圧送
