Although this had a significant adverse effect on the AF accuracy, conventionally, in order to prevent the stray light, the end face 9 of the sub-mirror 3 was painted black as shown in FIG. 3 to block the incident light 7a from the end face. Here, 7 represents ordinary incident light, and 8 represents reflected light.

By providing the same shape, it is possible to provide a camera that shields harmful light, facilitates positioning of the submirror, and improves assembling workability.

Reference numeral 3 denotes a sub-mirror for guiding the light transmitted by the main mirror 1 to the AF sensor or the AE sensor, which is fixed to the sub-mirror receiving plate 5 by the double-sided tape 4 (the fixing method is not limited to the double-sided tape. It may be fixed by other adhesives). The sub-mirror unit is rotatable when hinge holes 5 a and 5 b at the center of rotation are supported by a hinge shaft 2 a formed integrally with the main mirror receiving plate 2. The toggle spring 6 is engaged with a spring hook 2c of the main mirror receiving plate 2, and has a fixed end on the protrusion 2d and a movable end on the end 5c of the sub mirror receiving plate.
