Description
【発明の詳細な説明】
本発明は、経皮投薬を行なうシステムに関する。
針、カニューレによる薬液の体内投与は、経皮投薬に
おいて効果的な方法であるが、慢性疾患患者、高齢者、
衰弱患者に対して連続的に用いることができず、しかも
毎回受ける刺痛は、患者にとって耐えがたいものであ
る。
一方、経皮投薬手段であって、体内に薬物の導入経路
を埋入せずに、皮膚表面に薬物を配置し、電気力あるい
は浸透圧を利用して薬物を導入する方法が近時注目され
つつあるが、皮膚表面、特にバリヤー層の組織的解明が
未だ不充分である為、実用化には至っていない。
上記に鑑み本発明者らは鋭意研究の結果、皮膚組織表
面上に経皮投与システムを配置し、体温による膨張する
膨張体により薬物を押圧することにより、汗腺及び毛穴
を通じ、体内への薬液浸透が行なわれることを知見し、
本発明に到達したものである。
以下、本発明経皮投薬装置につき実施例を用いて詳細
に説明する。
第1図は本発明の一実施例を示す断面図であり、保持
体(1)の鍔部(6)の接着部(3)によって密閉され
た保持体内部空間は、薬物部(4)及び加圧体(2)が
充填されている。加圧体(2)はフロンガス等を充填し
た伸縮する球状体から成り、生体の体温等によって膨張
し、薬物部が皮膚組織(5)を押圧、薬物部(4)の薬
剤が皮膚に浸透する。図に示すごとく、例えばポリエチ
レン等により、1体部材として構成するのが製造の観点
から好ましい。接着剤3としては、例えばビニルエマル
ジョン系接着剤が好ましい。
以上詳述の如く本発明経皮投薬システムは、皮膚表面
に配置した薬物部を少量の力によって押圧することによ
り、投薬が行なわれることから、簡単な構成で安全にし
かも確実に経皮投薬が行なわれる等、効果を奏効するも
