In particular, the present invention relates to an improvement in the shape of an under cowl that can reliably discharge muddy water, earth and sand, etc., when the muddy water, earth and sand, etc. intrude between a footrest plate and an under cowl that covers the foot rest plate during traveling. [Prior art] Conventionally, in a scooter type motorcycle or three-wheeled vehicle, a portion between a steering barrel of a body frame and a seat mounting portion is bent downward to form a footrest plate support portion, and the support portion has A footrest is mounted on the upper side to form a low-floor footrest. Further, for example, there is an example in which an under cowl is disposed below the footrest plate supporting portion in order to improve the appearance or to form an air introduction passage to the rear of the vehicle (for example, Japanese Patent Application No. 62-50966). reference). [Problems to be Solved by the Invention] In recent motorcycles and tricycles, there is also a demand for a model with high terrain running ability such that it can run on uneven terrain as a sport, and even scooter type motorcycles and tricycles have irregular terrain. A model with improved driving performance is desired. However, the conventional scooter-type motorcycles and tricycles described above do not aim at such rough terrain running, so that various problems occur as they are. For example, when the under cowl as described above is provided, there is a problem in that when earth and sand, muddy water, and the like enter between the under cowl and the footrest plate, the under cowl is not easily discharged and easily accumulates in the portion. In view of the above-mentioned conventional situation, the present invention provides a scooter-type automatic vehicle that can immediately discharge soil, muddy water and the like when it enters between the footrest plate and the under cowl, and does not accumulate in the under cowl. It is an object of the present invention to provide a footrest structure for a tricycle. [Means for Solving the Problems] The present invention is to form a footrest plate support portion downwardly bent between the steering barrel of the body frame and the seat mounting portion, and to form an upper portion of the footrest plate support portion above the footrest plate support portion. In a scooter type motorcycle or three-wheeled vehicle footrest structure in which a footrest plate is provided with an under cowl on a lower side, the under cowl is extended substantially flatly and widely in a vehicle width direction, and both sides of the bottom wall. It is formed in a generally dish-shaped cross section including left and right walls extending upward from the end, and the front end of the under cowl extends upward and the rear end is opened. A discharge groove which is inclined in such a manner as to become lower toward the rear and has a lower surface protruding downward when viewed in a cross section is recessed at a portion which is separated inward in the vehicle width direction. [Operation] According to the scooter type motorcycle / tricycle footrest structure according to the present invention, the front end of the under cowl is extended upward, so that muddy water or the like that the front wheel jumps up at the upward extension. It is shut off and its intrusion into the under cowl is suppressed. In addition, a discharge groove that is inclined downward toward the rear and has a lower surface protruding downward is recessed at a position away from the left and right walls of the bottom wall of the under cowl inward in the vehicle width direction. Even if muddy water or the like enters between the mounting plate, the muddy water or the like is easily discharged rearward along the inclined discharge groove, so that it is possible to prevent the muddy water or the like from accumulating. In addition, since the discharge groove is recessed inward from the left and right walls inward in the vehicle width direction, it is possible to prevent the discharge groove from contacting the road surface or hitting a stone when banking the vehicle. Furthermore, this discharge groove also acts as a reinforcement for the bottom wall of the under cowl. Embodiment An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIGS. 1 to 5 are views showing a footrest structure of a scooter type motorcycle according to an embodiment of the present invention. In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a scooter type motorcycle, and a steering shaft tube 3 is fixed to a front end of a body frame 2 of the scooter type motorcycle. An under cowl 25 is provided below the foot rest supporting portions 9b and 10a. The under cowl 25 includes an under cover 26 that covers below the footrest plate 22 and a front cover 27 that covers the lower front of the rear leg shield 24.
And are integrally formed of resin. The undercover portion 26 has a dish-like shape when viewed in cross section, its rear end 26a is open, and a portion inwardly away from the left and right walls 26d of the bottom wall 26b, ie, near the vehicle center. The portion is provided with a discharge groove 26c which is inclined so as to become lower toward the rear and has a lower surface protruding downward when viewed in a cross section. The left and right side wall portions 26d of the under cover portion 26 are attached to the support plate 21.
Is extended upward so as to surround the left side, and the extended end is inserted into the left and right side edge portions 22a formed by bending below the footrest plate 22. Further, the left and right wall portions 26d are fixed to the support plate 21 by mounting bolts 28, and thus the footrest plate 22 and the under cover portion 26 form a box-shaped cross section. 26e is a wiring recess for a brake cable or the like. The central portion 27a of the front cover portion 27 has a shape in which the bottom wall 26b extends upward, and is recessed rearward to avoid interference with the front wheel 5.
The upper edge of a is overlapped with the lower extension 18a of the inner fender 18, and the left and right edges 27b are inserted into the side edges 22c of the inclined footrest 22b of the footrest plate 22. Next, the operation and effect of this embodiment will be described. In a scooter-type motorcycle having a low-floor footrest portion as in the present embodiment and having many opportunities for running on uneven terrain, when an under cowl is disposed below the footrest plate support portion, There is a concern that earth and sand, muddy water, and the like may enter between the floor and the footrest plate, and it is difficult to discharge the muddy water and the like, and the muddy water tends to accumulate in the portion. However, in this embodiment, the under cowl 25
Has a structure in which the under cover portion 26 and the front cover portion 27 are integrally formed, so that the front side of the footrest portion is continuously covered without a gap, and muddy water or the like is It rarely gets into the cowl 25. Moreover, in the present embodiment, the bottom wall 26b of the under cover portion 26 of the under cowl 25 is formed with a discharge groove 26c inclined rearward and downward, and the rear end thereof is opened, so that the front cover portion 27 and the inner fender 18 Even if muddy water or the like intrudes from the overlapping portion with the above, the muddy water or the like is reliably discharged backward along the inclined surface of the discharge groove 26c, and hardly stays inside. Although the above-described embodiment is directed to a scooter-type motorcycle, the present invention can of course be applied to a footrest of a scooter-type motorcycle. [Effect of the Invention] As described above, according to the footrest structure of the scooter type motorcycle according to the present invention, the front end of the bottom wall of the under cowl extends upward, so that the front wheel jumps up. Muddy water and the like can be suppressed from entering the under cowl, and the bottom surface of the bottom surface of the under cowl is inclined downward and rearward away from the left and right walls of the bottom wall of the under cowl in the vehicle width direction and viewed in cross section. Has a drain groove that protrudes downward, so that even if muddy water or the like enters between the footrest plate and the under cowl, this can be reliably discharged while preventing stoning and the like during vehicle banking, There is an effect that muddy water and the like can be prevented from accumulating inside, and the discharge groove also functions as a reinforcement of the bottom wall.
