た回転支板の回転軸がホツパーの端部軸受によってホツ
パーを軸支しており、この回転軸まわりにホツパーは回
転自在に構成されている)に同期して、ホツパー回転方
向と平行な回動動作を行なって、上記2つのユニツト
(ホツパーと現像器)の結合を切り離すシヤツター機構
によって目的が達せられる。通常、このシヤツター機構
は、ホツパーと現像器との結合時においては開口状態に
あり、上記の様な離隔時には開口状態を保っている。し
かしながら、上記動作途中において、シヤツターは現像
器のホツパーとの結合部と接触移動しながら、開口→閉
口状態へと移行する為、開口時にホツパーからの補給現
像剤の一部飛散したものがシヤツター部へ付着し、前記
現像器の結合部との接触移動中に、本体装置内へさらに
飛散させてしまう。この為、現像器抜き差し用把手や装
置内部のホツパー〜現像器結合部付近の操作つまみ、前
カバー裏面などを現像剤で汚してしまう。これらの部分
は、一般的にユーザーが触れる所であり、汚れに対して
は美感をそこなうと同時に、操作動作へも悪影響を与え
る結果となる。2. って、カム6を介して、シヤツター13が時計方向に回動
し、カム6の突出部6a面が把手11上面から離れた時、第
4図(a)及び第5図二点鎖線位置にシヤツター13を移
動させ、シヤツターは開口状態を作り、現像剤のホツパ

の場所へ落下するので、機内の他の場所(つまみ、レバ
ー、カバー類等のユーザーの触れる所)を汚す事がな
い。又、現像器のみのメンテナンスや交換時には、ホツ
パーを上方位置へ固定しておくだけで、現像器が装置外
へ取り出せるので、必要のないユニツトの動き(ホツパ
ーの回転動作等)による現像剤の飛散や、ユニツトの不
注意による破壊を防止出来る。さらに、本発明によるホ
ツパー手段は、通常の現像剤補給時の操作を煩雑にする
事なく、上方位置へ固定されたホツパーを支軸周りに回
