The rolled rubber is put into a mold 27 having a shape, and the four side portions 29a and 30a constituting the left side portion 29 and the right side portion 30 of the tire shown in FIGS. 8 and 9 are formed in an unvulcanized state. . Next, the inside of each of the side portion 29a and the side portion 30a of the tire is cut into an arc shape using a cutter or the like, and a concave groove portion 31 is provided. Next, the four side portions 29a are placed in accordance with the grooves of the left-side mold (not shown) in which the grooves are annularly provided.
On the side portion 29a is mounted an annular rim 32 of integral boss and spoke, on which the four side portions 30a are arranged annularly in the same manner as the side portion 29a. The groove is to cover a right mold (not shown) provided in an annular shape. Then, while feeding compressed air at a constant pressure using an air compressor or the like into the hollow portion 33 formed by the arc-shaped concave groove portion 31, press-molding with the left and right molding dies to heat the rolled rubber. Vulcanization (cross-linking between rubber molecules to form a strong bond and add elasticity, tensile strength, weather resistance, wear resistance, etc. over a wide temperature range) and are shown in FIGS. 9 and 10. A wheel having such a hollow portion 33 is manufactured.

Therefore, there is a problem that there are many joining portions, and that joining defects due to air mixing or the like are likely to occur at the joining portions. Also,
In order to manufacture a hollow wheel by this method, a large number of dies are required, and the process is complicated, resulting in a problem of high production cost.

The left and right sides of the tire are molded, the middle mold is removed from the upper mold and the lower mold, and an annular rim with rolled rubber attached to the outer periphery is mounted between the left and right sides of the tire. The left and right sides of the combined tire and the annular rim are crimped between the lower mold and the upper mold, and the left and right sides are joined while introducing steam into the hollow parts on the left and right sides. The vulcanization is performed by a lower mold and an upper mold.
