ころ以下の原因が大きなウエイトを占めることの知見を
得た。即ち、線引きダイスの場合通称リング、クレータ
等と称するいわゆる傷が付き易く、その場所はアプロー
チの内で素線が一番最初に当る部位に大きく発生し、そ
の理由としては素線の径とダイスのアプローチ角度がう
まく合っていない、アプローチ角度がラッパ状に大きく
広がっている、潤滑剤(油又は粉末)がうまくのらず金
属同士の接触(メタル ツー メタル コンタクト)が
ある。ダイス材質が柔かいか素線材質が硬い等の原因が
考えられることが判った。

保持されているので、当該部位近辺の潤滑性が格段に良
くリングやクレーターと称する傷が付きづらい。勿論上
記の部位以降の加工面へな素線の侵入と共に潤滑剤が運
び込まれることになるので、ベアリング部その他の潤滑
性も向上することになる。
