ここで、第7図に示す肉ぬすみしない従来例においては
T1で示す長さが端子誘い込み長さであり、T2で示す長さ
の部分は端子誘い込み長さとなっていなものである。こ
こでT2は刃受け片1の厚みをtとするとtcosθとなる。
一方第2図に示す本発明にあっては、T3で示す部分が端
子誘い込み長さとなり、第2図に示す従来例に比べてT4
だけ端子誘い込み長さを短くできるものである。このT4
は(t−Δt)cosθとなる。したがって、端子2をボ
ディ6の挿入口9から挿入する場合、案内片5の端子誘
い込み長さが長いため案内片5の最先端の角部に端子2
が衝突するのを防止してスムーズに端子2をガイドして
端子接触部4間に差し込むことができるものである。
