On the other hand, "inserted paper" in which characters and images are "inserted" into paper requires a high level of technology for its manufacture, and has been used for a long time to prevent forgery. The use of multiple anti-counterfeiting means for the anti-counterfeiting paper is more excellent in anti-counterfeiting.Therefore, like a British pound bill, a threaded window opening is provided at a predetermined position, and a person is placed at a different position. As in the example with the statue plowed, the above-mentioned "with window-opening thread"
A variety of anti-counterfeit papers using both the above-mentioned technology and the “plow-in” technology are also manufactured.

However, a common problem with these papers is that the paper cannot be wound into a long length in a roll. Threads usually have a thickness of several tens of μm, and are continuously milled at a specific position on the paper, so when wound up in a roll, the thickness of the paper at the point where the thread is milled is partially This is because the film gradually becomes thicker, and wrinkles will be formed at that location. According to the study by the present inventors, when a thread having a thickness of about 15 μm is continuously machined on paper of 100 g / m 2 , when the thread is wound up into a roll shape of about 1000 m, wrinkles occur at the thread insertion portion. I confirmed. If wrinkles occur, the paper after the wrinkles will be defective even if the paper is further wound up. Whether or not the paper can be wound into a roll has a great effect on productivity when printing on the paper later. This is because if the paper cannot be roll-finished, it must be finished in plain format.

[0008] In the forgery prevention paper in which the above-mentioned technology of "with window thread" and the technology of "pull-in" are used in different portions of the paper, a "window-threaded" portion and a "plow-in" are used. There is a problem that printing is difficult on the part and only a very light color can be printed even when printing, so there are restrictions on the print design such as a decrease in the paper surface on which decorative printing can be performed. Was. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a new and improved forgery prevention paper which can solve these problems.

Means for Solving the Problems The occurrence of wrinkles when the paper is wound into a roll during the production of threaded paper is caused by the fact that the thickness of the paper is locally increased by inserting the thread as described above. It is due to going. To solve this problem, the present inventors have made various studies based on the idea that if the paper thickness is partially reduced so as to offset the local increase in the paper thickness, wrinkles will disappear. went. As a result, it has been found that the above problem can be solved by providing a window opening of a specific size with a reduced paper thickness on the surface of the paper and milling the thread so that the thread is exposed at the window opening. Was. However, in this method, when the paper is held over light, the entire window opening portion appears to be transparent and white, so that it feels very unnatural. The inventors of the present invention have continued their studies, and it is possible to eliminate the drawback by providing a puncture made of characters and images inside the window opening. It was found that by applying it to the same place, the design restrictions when printing on paper could be eliminated.

As the thread 5 used in the present invention, any type of thread that has been conventionally proposed for preventing forgery, such as a thread for gold and silver threads, a hologram thread, a magnetic thread, and a fluorescent coloring thread, can be used. For example, a thread for gold / silver yarn is manufactured by vacuum-depositing metal aluminum on a polyester film, coating a resin for protection on the deposition surface, and slitting with a microslitter.
A gold thread can be manufactured by coloring the resin to be applied yellow. It is preferable that the thread be coated with a heat-sensitive adhesive. As a result, the heat-sensitive adhesive functions by the heat of the drying zone of the paper machine, and the thread and the paper are more securely bonded to each other.

The anti-counterfeit paper obtained in the present invention is usually produced at a basis weight of 70 to 150 g / m 2 . The ratio of the outermost paper layer to the other paper layers is 20:80 to 80:
It is preferably 20. The attachment ratio is, for example, when manufacturing two-layer paper with a basis weight of 100 g / m 2 ,
The attachment ratio of 20:80 means that the outermost paper layer is composed of 20 g / m 2 and the other paper layers are composed of 80 g / m 2 . If the ratio of the outermost paper layer is less than 20, the characters or images to be inserted tend to lose sharpness, and if it exceeds 80, the characters or images to be inserted tend to be broken.

Paper making of paper The upper net without any work is attached to the round net cylinder 11a of the first tank of the two tank type round net paper machine as shown in FIG.
An upper net 12b to which the above-mentioned mold 13 was attached was attached to the second net cylinder 12a. The paper layer 3 of the second layer (outermost layer) formed in the second tank is overlapped with the paper layer 3 of the second layer formed in the first tank formed on the first layer formed in the first tank.
A two-layer laminated paper was produced at 0 m / min. At this time, a thread for gold and silver thread having a thickness of 15 μm and a width of 1.0 mm was placed between the first layer (50 g / m 2 in terms of dry weight) and the second layer (50 g / m 2 ). It was inserted at a position corresponding to the center of the mold 13 using the method proposed in JP-A-5-40080.
Next, the wet paper was dehydrated according to a conventional method, and then dried with a cylinder dryer to produce a forgery prevention paper made of two-layer laminated paper. In the obtained paper, the length X of the window opening 1 in the longitudinal direction of the paper is 10 mm, and the length Y of the non-window opening 6 is 5 mm.
In the window opening 1, a letter 2 of "A" and "B" having a width of 1.2 mm is formed, and a thread 5 is exposed inside the window opening 1, and a thread is exposed in the non-window opening 6. 5 was buried between the paper layers. When this paper was wound into a roll with a paper machine winder,
No wrinkling was observed even after winding up 6000 m.

According to the method of the present invention as described above and the anti-counterfeit paper obtained by this method, the following remarkable effects can be obtained. 1) Since both the clearance 2 for characters and images and the exposed part of the thread 5 are formed in the window opening part 1, a forgery prevention paper which is not unnatural in design can be obtained. Also when printing on this paper, restrictions on the print design received when the clearance 2 and the exposed portion of the thread 5 are formed in different portions of the paper, for example, the print area is reduced when decorative printing is desired. Such a problem can be solved.
