その性能上何倍かに伸長した弾性糸に捲糸をカバリグす
る為、従来のポリアミドフイラメント糸をそのまま、捲
糸に用いたものは、芯糸と捲糸の被覆の微妙なバランス
が得られにくいため、不均一な捲構造や、節欠点が生じ
易く外力が加わつてシゴキが生じた際、捲糸の一部分が
ズレ易く、弾性糸が捲糸に被覆されない裸の部分を生じ
る欠陥のあるものになつてしまう。これらの欠点を防止
する方策として、捲糸にポリアミド仮撚糸を用いてなじ
みを良くしているのが実状である。しかし、捲糸にポリ
アミド仮撚糸を用いたカバリング糸は、仮撚糸の微捲縮
により光沢が消えてしまい、消費者の要求する光沢に富
む薄地の衣料とはならない。本発明の目的は従来の仮撚
糸の光沢不足を改良し優雅な光沢に富み、均一な捲構造
で被覆性に優れ、身体にフイツトし、身体を動かし易
い、薄地で柔軟な衣料となるシングルカバリング糸を提
供するにある。
