As is known, the corrugated board 1 is a laminated paperboard having a cavity 1c formed by laminating a flat paper 1b on the front and back surfaces of a corrugated paperboard 1a. The laminated paperboard is subdivided in accordance with the above description, and as shown in FIG. A plate-shaped paper piece 2 having a flat outer shape is formed, and the entire surface of the plate-shaped paper piece 2 is covered with a water absorbing agent 3. At this time, as shown in FIG. 5, the cavity 1c opened to the corrugated end face side of the corrugated paperboard 1a is not closed by the water absorbing agent 3, but remains in an open state. The water absorbing agent 3 is only layered on the end faces of the corrugated paperboard 1a and the flat paperboard 1b.

It is formed by spraying the powder of the water absorbing agent 3. The water or the adhesive causes the particles 3a directly in contact with the particles 3a to adhere to each other, and at the same time, a part of the particles 3a infiltrates between the particles 3a due to the capillary phenomenon and adheres to the particle peripheral surfaces. A structure in which a so-called water-absorbing agent 3 is covered is formed.

Since the cavities of the respective sheet-like paper pieces formed by the corrugated paperboard of the corrugated paperboard are left open in the corrugated paperboard at the corrugated end face side, urination of animals having a hollow and open structure is performed. A material or bedding rug can be provided, whereby the urination treatment material or bedding rug has a sufficient water absorption and water retention effect required for the treatment material or rug, and at the same time, has a heat insulating property, a buffering property, and a bulking effect. And it is extremely suitable as a treatment material or rug.
