When increasing the number of the notches 11 of the orifice 9, the outer and inner surfaces of the orifice 9 are processed by a lathe, whereas the notches 11 are processed by a milling machine.
Processing becomes complicated and processing cost increases. Further, the orifice 9 itself has a complicated shape, so that the manufacturing cost is increased, and there is a problem that an assembling operation of press-fitting the orifice 9 into the torch main body 1 is required.

However, in order to increase the number of the notches 11, the outer or inner surface of the orifice 9 or the like is required. In contrast to machining with a lathe, the notch 11 is machined with a milling machine or the like, which complicates machining and increases machining costs. However, in this embodiment, the processing method of the gas through-hole recess 15 is based on the shield gas passage hole 8.
And the same processing method as the collet receiving recess 14,
The number of the gas passage recesses 15 can be easily increased, and the gas shielding property can be easily improved.

According to the above configuration, since the orifice 9 can be omitted from the torch main body 1, the cost of parts can be reduced and the orifice 9
Since the assembling work is not required, the assembling work can be improved, and the orifice 9 can be prevented from falling off, so that the quality can be improved. Further, since the number of gas through-hole recesses 15 which are gas through holes at the tip of the torch main body 1 can be increased at low cost, the gas shielding property can be easily improved.
Furthermore, since the collet 5 is fixed in the radial direction by the collet receiving recess 14 at the tip of the torch main body 1, the flow of the shielding gas from the torch main body 1 to the gas through hole 10 of the collet body 6 can be made uniform, and the gas shield at the welded portion can be made. The performance is further improved.

A gas pipe, a water supply pipe, and a drain pipe made of a metal pipe are provided at the center of the metal member 17, around which a flexible, insulating, In consideration of heat resistance, the insulating member 3 made of heat-resistant rubber such as silicon rubber is formed. Also in this embodiment, at the tip of the metal member 17,
A collet receiving recess 18 for receiving the base side of the collet 5 in the fitted state is formed, and a part of the outer periphery of the collet receiving recess 18 is parallel to the axis of the collet receiving recess 18 as shown in FIG. A gas passage hole recess 15 is formed as a second recess which extends in the second direction and is formed into a cylindrical shape so as to be deeper than the bottom surface of the collet receiving recess 18 and partially larger than the outer diameter of the collet receiving recess 18. The recess 15 communicates the shield gas passage hole 8 inside the metal member 17 with the outer peripheral space 5 a on the base side of the collet 5. The torch main body 16 differs from the above embodiment in that the shield gas passage hole 8 does not communicate with the collet receiving recess 18 coaxially, so that the electrode 4 can be inserted only up to the bottom of the collet receiving recess 18.

And the second recess which is a gas passage around the first recess, the orifice can be eliminated from the torch main body, thereby reducing the cost of parts and improving the assembling workability by eliminating the work of assembling the orifice. Quality can be improved because the orifice can be prevented from falling off. Further, the number of the second concave portions, which are the gas through holes around the collet base side receiving portion at the tip of the torch main body, can be increased at low cost, so that the gas shielding property can be easily improved. Furthermore, since the collet is fixed in the radial direction at the first concave portion at the tip of the torch main body, the flow of the shielding gas from the torch main body to the gas through hole of the collet body can be made uniform, thereby improving the excellent gas shielding property of the welded portion. Can be realized.
