A snow stopper having a fixing foot plate portion for fixing to a roof plate or a base plate at an angle attachment portion for attaching a snow stopper angle, wherein a top plate portion is provided above a support portion for supporting the snow stopper angle. A snow stopper angle insertion gap is provided in the angle mounting portion, and a cut-out tongue protruding into the insertion gap is cut out from the top plate to form a lower portion. The snow stopper angle is inserted into the insertion gap into the cut-out tongue piece in a resilient state and supported by the support part. The snow retaining angle is retained on the support part by the angle retaining retaining part so that the snow stopper angle is prevented from coming off.
