重ね合わせ、その上面より板幅方向に溶接することによ
り短時間で容易に接合が可能となる。尚、この接続部付
近は巻取機の直前に配置されたシャーにより切断除去す
る為、巻取に際して発生する張力に耐える程度の溶接引

時間の大幅な短縮が可能となる。 (2)鋼板製のダミーバーの先端部と薄板鋳片のダミー
バーの後端部を溶接機により、接合し、鋳造機から巻取
機までダミーバーを配置した状態とすることにより、長
尺のダミーバーを必要とせずダミーバーの製作コストを
著しく低減することができる。 (3)ロット最終に鋳造された薄板鋳片は、鋳片内部に
介在物が残留するため製品とはならず、この部分をダミ
