Problems such as variations in outer diameter dimensions, peeling of the tape, and plastic deformation are likely to occur, and therefore, the fishing line guide fitted thereon tends to move or rotate. In addition, attaching such a tape has a problem that the thickness of the rod body is increased and the weight is increased, thereby causing the rod body to be less flexible.

It is another object of the present invention to provide a method of manufacturing a fishing rod without increasing the thickness of the rod body or increasing the weight.

The rod body 11 is formed by heating and firing at a temperature of 160 ° C.
After that, the mounting portion of the rod body 11, which is a position for increasing the coefficient of static friction, is vulcanized and cured with the above-mentioned rubber material such as chlorosulfonated polyethylene, chloroprene rubber, other rubber-like synthetic materials, and natural rubber. The layer 27 is formed.

The surface of the rod body 11 is subjected to surface polishing using a scotch, sander, or the like, and then a base treatment such as degreasing is performed. Then, the rod body 11 is primed with an epoxy resin, a urethane resin, or the like. The surface is preferably subjected to surface polishing using a scotch, sander or the like, and thereafter, a base treatment such as degreasing is preferably performed.

It is performed by heating in an atmosphere of 100 ° C. for 60 to 120 minutes. The application of the rubber-like substance forming the coating layer 27 may be performed on the entire surface of the rod body 11 or a part as in the above-described configuration. That is, in the rod main body, the rubber-like substance described above may be applied not only to the fishing line guide as described above but also to a place where contact with the fishing line guide is increased by increasing the coefficient of static friction to prevent rotation or movement. Further, in this case, a crease may be formed in the axial length direction, or irregularities may be formed in the circumferential direction. In addition, it is preferable to mix known particles and reinforcing materials, but it is not preferable to mix additives that reduce the surface static friction coefficient.

Since it was integrally formed by vulcanization and curing and was formed by the coating layer 27 made of an extremely thin rubber-like substance having a static friction coefficient larger than the static friction coefficient of the rod body 11,
The rotation and movement of the fishing line guide 15 attached thereto can be reliably prevented, and the fishing line guide 15 can be easily attached to and detached from the rod body 11.

Since the coefficient of static friction of the fishing line guide 15 becomes large, the rotation and movement of the fishing line guide 15 mounted thereon can be sufficiently prevented, and the mounting and detachment of the mounting cylinder 21 to and from the mounting portion 13 is extremely easy. It becomes possible to do. Also,
In the fishing rod configured as described above, since the coating layer 27 made of an extremely thin rubber-like substance is simply formed on the rod body 11,
An increase in the weight of the fishing rod can be prevented. Further, since the coating layer 27 is made of a very thin rubber-like substance, the bending of the rod body 11 does not deteriorate, stress is concentrated on this portion, and the condition of the fishing rod is deteriorated or the fishing rod is broken. It doesn't get easier. Further, since the coating layer 27 is made of a very thin rubber-like substance, the outer diameter is hardly varied, and the fishing line guide can be set securely.

In the fishing rod configured as described above, the rotation and movement of the fishing line guide 15 are most reliably prevented by setting the thickness of the coating layer 27 made of an extremely thin rubber-like substance to 5 to 80 μm. In addition, it is possible to easily attach and detach the fishing line guide 15 to and from the rod body 11.

The attachment / detachment of the fishing line guide 15 to / from the rod body 11 becomes easier, but in this case, the thickness of the coating layer 27 is too thin,
It is very difficult to give the coating layer 27 a predetermined coefficient of static friction.

When the fitting cylinder 21 of the fishing line guide 15 is strongly fitted, the coating layer 27 is elastically deformed, so that the fishing line guide 15 goes too deeply.
There is a possibility that the mounting cylinder 21 may adhere to the coating layer 27, and even after the mounting cylinder 21 is fitted to the coating layer 27, the coating layer 27 has elasticity.
May be further deformed, and the fishing line guide 15 may rotate.

5, the mounting cylinder 21 can be securely locked to the coating layer 27.
In addition, it can be supported on the surface of the rod body 11.
In this case, since the mounting cylinder 21 is not received by the coating layer 27 alone, the coating layer 27 is not easily peeled off, and the rotation of the mounting cylinder 21 is reliably prevented. Further, the movement of the mounting tube 21 in the mounting portion 13 in the axial direction becomes relatively easy, and the mounting tube 21 can be easily attached and detached. Of course, a simple smooth surface may be used without forming such unevenness 25.
