The inside and outside airtight state is maintained. When taking out the radioactive substance 20 in the glove box 10, the following procedure is performed. First, as shown in B, the radioactive substance 20 to be taken out is taken into the inside of the vinyl bag 14 using a glove (not shown) separately attached.
Next, using a high-frequency welding device (not shown) called a sealer, high-frequency welding is performed at three points as shown in C. The welded portion is indicated by reference numeral 22. After that, as shown in D, cutting is carried out with scissors or the like at a substantially central position of the middle welded portion of the three welded portions 22. The weld cut portion is indicated by reference numeral 24. As a result, a radioactive substance storage bag (a vinyl bag containing a radioactive substance) 26 is obtained.

It is preferable to provide a positioning table and to provide an adhesive tape cutter for cutting the adhered adhesive tape on the adhesive tape discharge side of the pressure-bonding section. It is more convenient to use a variable speed motor for the rubber roller drive mechanism. It is desirable to provide at least one of the rubber rollers with an up-down slide mechanism that can move the position in the up-down direction and thereby adjust the pressure contact state between the rubber rollers.

Do. Thereafter, the radioactive material storage bag is introduced into the apparatus such that the welded cut portion is located substantially at the center in the width direction of the supplied adhesive tape, and the upper and lower adhesive tapes are attached to the radioactive material storage bag. Then, the adhesive tapes are stuck to each other at the portion outside the radioactive substance storage bag. At this time, the upper and lower rubber rollers adhere over the entire surface of the adhesive tape while absorbing a step due to the presence or absence of the radioactive substance storage bag and a change in the thickness of the welded portion and the non-welded portion. The operator can hold the radioactive material storage bag alone and send it in the direction along the adhesive tape, and then tap automatically without touching the adhesive tape.

This device has a pair of upper and lower adhesive tape supply units 32 each capable of mounting the adhesive tape roll 30 from the front of the device.
a, 32b and their adhesive tape supply units 32a, 32b
The upper and lower guide mechanisms (in this embodiment, guide rollers 34a and 34b) for guiding the two adhesive tapes 31 drawn out from the adhesive tapes so that the adhesive surfaces face each other, and have been guided through the guide rollers 34a and 34b. A rotational driving force is applied to a pressure-bonding portion composed of a pair of upper and lower rubber rollers 36a and 36b which are transported while being pressed while sandwiching the welded cut portion of the radioactive substance storage bag with the upper and lower adhesive tapes 31, and a lower rubber roller 36b. It is configured to include a rubber roller driving motor 38 that can be turned on and off by a foot switch (not shown). Further, the radioactive material storage bag is placed on the adhesive tape introduction side of the rubber rollers 36a and 36b, and the horizontal position of the radioactive material storage bag welding cut portion is set such that the weld cut portion is introduced substantially at the center in the width direction of the adhesive tape. An alignment table 40 for regulating is provided, and an adhesive tape cutter 42 for cutting the bonded adhesive tape at a predetermined position is provided on the adhesive tape discharge side of the pair of rubber rollers 36a and 36b. All of these members are assembled to the housing 44 of the device.

The adhesive tape winding body 30 can be easily attached by being detachable. Rubber roller 36 that constitutes the crimping part
a and 36b are made of rubber of a flexible material such as neoprene (trade name). The reason is that the adhesive tape can be stuck on the whole surface while absorbing the step due to the presence or absence of the radioactive material storage bag and the change in the thickness of the welded part and the non-welded part, and the crimping area is also reduced. This is to make it larger. Here, the rubber roller is used, if the roller is made of a hard substance other than the rubber roller, the adhesive tape cannot be pulled to slide, and there is a risk of damaging the radioactive substance storage bag, Because it cannot be used at all.

The transfer direction of the radioactive material storage bag is the x direction, and the base body 50 whose upstream side is curved downward in the transfer direction is screwed into the mounting hole 52 with the screw 54.
(See FIG. 1) to make it easily detachable, and a position regulating member 56 is mounted on the upper surface thereof. The position regulating member 56 regulates the position of the welded cut portion in the horizontal direction (y-direction) by abutting the front surface thereof on the welded cut portion of the radioactive substance storage bag, and penetrates two long holes 58. The screw 60 is used to adjust the position in the y direction. An L-shaped projecting arm 62 is provided on one end surface (the end surface on the right side in the drawing) of the position regulating member 56 to regulate the upper position of the radioactive substance storage bag to be introduced in the vertical direction (z direction) (lower position). Is regulated by the base body 50) and also prevents the operator's finger from being pinched. The entire positioning table 40 can be easily moved by using the mounting holes 52 as described above, and is designed so as not to hinder the mounting of the adhesive tape roll 30 to the adhesive tape supply units 32a and 32b. The radioactive substance storage bag 26 is in a welded state at two places. A cross section (X 1 -X 1 cross section) near the welded portion is shown enlarged on the right side. This state is exactly the same as the prior art. When the radioactive substance storage bag 26 is subjected to taping by the present apparatus, a state as shown in FIG. 4B is obtained.
The right side of the drawing shows an enlarged cross section (X 2 -X 2 cross section) near the portion where the adhesive tape 31 is attached. The two pieces of adhesive tape 31 are bonded together,
The whole surface is completely bonded so that 4 is located substantially at the center. This is slightly different from the folded structure in the prior art shown in FIG. However, since the periphery of the welding cut portion 24 is completely covered by the joining of the adhesive surfaces of both adhesive tapes, there is no danger of contamination leaking or peeling off, and the inside of the radioactive substance storage bag is completely sealed.

Since the taping device is configured to completely cover the welded cut portion with the adhesive tape, the operator taps the radioactive substance storage bag only by inserting it in a predetermined direction from a predetermined position, and the adhesive tape is used during the taping operation. Is not stuck to the rubber gloves, so that not only the workability is improved, but also the rubber gloves can be prevented from being damaged and the safety is improved. In addition, since the taping work of the welding cut portion can be performed by one worker, the work efficiency can be remarkably improved.
