[0002] Materials used for putter heads include:
Various materials such as stainless steel, soft iron, brass, brass and aluminum are used, and the shapes are L-shaped, T-shaped, mallet-shaped,
There are various types such as pin type. In recent years, many balls use a cover (for example, Surlyn or the like) that is harder and less susceptible than a balata cover whose surface is easily damaged, and two-piece balls are more often used than wound balls. Therefore, a two-piece ball or the like having a hard skin has a harder feeling of putting than a thread-wound balata ball, and is not preferable in putting where a delicate touch is required. Therefore, a material has been developed in which a putter head is made of aluminum or an alloy thereof so that a soft shot feeling can be obtained even when a two-piece ball or the like is used.

A putter head made of aluminum or an alloy thereof has a drawback that the material itself has low hardness and is easily damaged. In addition, since the specific gravity is light, even when trying to put the ball in a pendulum type, the weight of the head cannot be used well, and the head is hit by the force of the impact, and the hand tends to be hand-punched instead of the rotation of the shoulder.

FIG. 1 is a plan view showing a preferred embodiment of the present invention, in which a weight member 2 is disposed on a heel side and a toe side of a head body 1 entirely formed of aluminum or an alloy thereof. A shaft insertion hole 3 is formed on the heel side. The putter head having such a shape is a so-called mallet type, in which aluminum or its alloy is used intact and the weight member 2 is provided so that the total head weight becomes about 300 g. .

FIG. 3 is a front view as viewed from the face surface 4 side, and clearly shows the positional relationship between the shaft insertion hole 3 and the pair of weight members 2. As the weight member 2, it is preferable to use a tungsten alloy having a specific gravity of about 17 to 20. Other weight members such as brass and lead may be used. By disposing such a weight member 2, the moment of inertia about the vertical axis of the head is increased, and as a result, the head is excellent in directionality.

Since aluminum or an alloy thereof (Vickers hardness: 60 to 120 Hv) forming the head body 1 is easily damaged, an anodic oxide film is formed on a surface other than the face surface 4 of the head body 1. When performing such an anodic oxide coating treatment, the weight member 2 is not disposed on the sole portion. FIG. 4 is a schematic view showing an anodic oxide film formed on aluminum 10 in general. A large number of fine holes 11 are formed, and a porous layer 13 in which a coating cell 12 is formed is formed. The coating cell 12 is used for forming an anodic oxide film one by one.
And the micropores 11 are micropores formed in the center of the coating cell 12. When such an anodized film is formed, the surface hardness increases (Vickers hardness 180 Hv
Above), it is hard to be damaged and corrosion can be prevented. However, since a pinhole is easily formed in a cast product of aluminum or an aluminum alloy or a welded portion of aluminum or an aluminum alloy, when the pinhole is filled with putty or the like, the surface is polished or the surface is smoothed. For this reason, the anodic oxide film is extremely thin (usually 3 μm to 50 μm) when polished, so that the film may be scraped off by polishing or the like. Therefore, after forming such an anodized film, it is preferable to form a paint film on the film. FIG. 5 is an enlarged cross-sectional view showing a state in which an anodic oxide coating 5 is formed on the surface of aluminum or its alloy 10 and a coating layer 6 composed of a coating 61 and a coloring layer 60 is formed on the coating 5. It is. In the example shown in FIG. 5, after the anodic oxide coating 5 is formed, a primer treatment is performed to form a primer layer 7 on the surface. As a paint that can be preferably used in the formation of the coating film 61,
One-component urethane resin paint, thermosetting paint mainly composed of polyester resin, acrylic resin, epoxy resin, alkyd resin, etc., UV-curable polyester paint and the like. It is preferable to form such a coating film 61 by dipping or vacuum impregnation. In FIG. 5, a colored layer 60 is formed on such a coating film 61. To perform the anodizing treatment, as described above, the weight member 2
The head main body 1 before disposing is manufactured by a method such as casting, and is polished. After forming the anodic oxide film 5 by anodizing treatment, a primer treatment is performed to form a primer layer 7. Thereafter, a coating film 61 is formed by means such as dipping or vacuum impregnation. Paint film 6
After forming 1, a blasting or polishing treatment is performed. After a blast treatment or the like, a colored paint is applied to form a colored layer 60.
To form The coating film 61 seals the fine holes 11 to prevent the anodized film 5 from falling off.

As described above, according to the present invention, the weight members are disposed on the heel side and the toe side of the head main body made of aluminum or its alloy having a Vickers hardness of 60 to 120 Hv. since the formation of the anodic oxide film on the surface other than the face surface of the head body, and this portion becomes scratch resistant. In addition, since no anodic oxide film is formed on the face surface, the soft feel of hitting is maintained. In addition, a further coating film was formed on the anodized film .
In this way, the fine pores of the anodic oxide film can be sealed with a paint film, or if a pinhole or the like occurs, the anodic oxide film can be prevented from being scraped off by polishing or blasting after filling with putty, etc. Can be smoothed. Also,
Since the weight member is provided, a certain weight is applied to the head main body, and a smooth stroke can be performed. In addition, the provision of these weight members increases the moment of inertia and improves the directionality.
