プロピレン(PP)材料でガイドローラの成形を実施し
ても、メルトフローが例えば5g/10minのように
低いので樹脂の充填に時間がかかり、充填が不完全な状
態で成形品が固化してしまい、製品の形状不良となって
いた。また、従来の汎用ポリプロピレン材料では引張り
破壊伸びが例えば200%のように大きいので成形後の
ゲート切れが悪く、製品に凸のゲート残りが発生して製
品としてはゲート処理の2次加工が必要となった。その
ため、ポリオレフィンによるガイドローラは実用性がな
かった。
