[Prior Art] In recent years, electronic devices have been increasingly miniaturized.
The localization of the fever location becomes remarkable, and liquid cooling,
With the adoption of forced air cooling, etc., it has become increasingly important to ensure that the inside of a complex and large computer that uses many such electronic devices is kept at a low temperature. Was. For this reason, the so-called computer room air-conditioning equipment, in which large-sized computers are installed together, is becoming more important, but on the other hand, the demand for reducing the necessary expenses is becoming more severe. Conventionally, a large-sized computer is installed in a so-called computer room in which the room temperature is maintained at a relatively low temperature, for example, in the lower half of 20 ° C., and sucks air under the free access floor which is further cooled to a lower temperature, for example, about 18 ° C. Electronic equipment was cooled by sending it into an electronic computer. However, in general, the cost of maintaining a relatively large computer room at a low temperature for a considerably long period of time and seasonally compared to the outside air temperature is unavoidable.

Even if it is called electronic equipment, personal computers that have become very popular in recent years, and terminal equipment of large-sized computers that are substantially similar to personal computers, are not as good as humans even if they are not as weather-resistant. Because of its ability to withstand various environments, it has become necessary to review the operating costs of large computers installed in computer rooms. In other words, for some electronic devices and information processing devices other than those for which specific environmental conditions are strictly required, such as computer operators, environmental conditions similar to those of general personal computer users are required. It should be no problem, therefore, to reduce environmental maintenance costs from such a viewpoint.

According to the present invention, a large-sized computer is installed in a so-called computer room, but even in the computer room, an area for setting strict environmental conditions is made as small as possible. It is an object of the present invention to provide a computer cooling system capable of reducing operating costs.

According to the present invention, there is provided a system for cooling an electronic computer installed on a free access floor of a computer room.
A main air conditioner and an alternative air conditioner that are arranged at different positions in the computer room and that send cooling air through the floor of the free access floor, respectively, and are disposed under the floor of the free access floor and are opened when wind pressure is applied from one direction. A wind path having a plurality of ventilation panels that block the passage of the wind when the wind pressure is applied from the opposite direction, wherein the ventilation path includes cooling air from the main air conditioner, And, to guide the cooling air from the alternative air conditioner to the computer, respectively, the plurality of ventilation panels, through the cooling air from the alternative air conditioner, against the wind pressure from the main air conditioner. The air conditioner is arranged to prevent the wind from the main air conditioner from passing through the ventilation panel, and the cooling air from the main air conditioner is allowed to pass, but the alternative air conditioner is opposed to the wind pressure from the alternative air conditioner. Conventionally, no special ventilation path is provided under the free access floor in the computer room, but the floor is integrally filled with cooling air from the air conditioner, and the cool air is sucked by the electronic computer so that the inside of the computer is cooled. Used for cooling electronic equipment. On the other hand, according to the present invention, a cooling air blowing path is provided under the free access floor so as to guide the cool air from the air conditioner to the place where the computer is installed. Due to this, the average temperature under the floor of the free access floor in the computer room increases, and accordingly, the room temperature (on the free access floor) of the computer room, for example, the indoor average value, becomes
Although it may rise, the electronics inside the large computer installed on the raised floor can be maintained at a sufficiently low temperature as desired. That is,
Since only the narrower portion than before is kept at a desired low temperature and the temperature rise in the other portions is almost left undisturbed, it is clear that the amount of power for operating the air conditioner can be reduced. Raised access floors were originally adopted to make it easier to change the computer installation state as quickly as possible, such as laying new wiring on the computer and leaving unnecessary wiring materials in some cases. For this reason, the rise in the free access underfloor temperature is restricted by the allowable temperature rise limit of the wiring, but generally, the wiring material is not sensitive to the upper limit temperature like some LSIs.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. FIG. 3 is a view showing the head of the column 2 supporting the floor plate of the free access floor at its four corners. Using such columns, the free access floor is supported at a height of, for example, about 30 cm away from the original floor of the building. When the present invention is carried out, the strut 2 is not particularly different from those generally used conventionally. ◆ Figure 1
FIG. 4 is a side sectional view of an embodiment of the present invention in which a ventilation panel 4 forming a check valve is operated by wind pressure and wind pressure of cooling air from an air conditioner. In the figure, 1 is a free access floor panel, 2 is a free access floor column that supports four adjacent floor panels 1 at the four corners together, as described above, 3 is the original floor of the building, 4 is a ventilation panel, 5 Is a stopper, and 6 is a support shaft attached to the ventilation panel 4 for supporting the ventilation panel 4 at the upper part. When the main air conditioner (not shown) is operating, the ventilation panel 4 hangs down by its own weight until it contacts the stopper 5, and is further pressed against the stopper 5 by the wind pressure of the cooling air from the main air conditioner. Part of the wind from the main air conditioner is indicated by an arrow M in FIG.
And was pushed back. Ventilation panel 4 at this time
Is shown as 4b in the figure. When the main air conditioner is stopped for failure or inspection and an alternative air conditioner (not shown) is operating, the ventilation panel 4 comes into contact with the free access floor due to the wind pressure of the cooling air from the alternative air conditioner. Alternatively, the panel 4 is blown up to a position where the force of hanging down by its own weight and the panel lift by the cooling air from the alternative air conditioner are balanced. The state of the ventilation panel 4 in this state is shown as 4a in the figure. In the drawing, the cooling air from the alternative air conditioner is indicated by an arrow S. Figure 2 shows the ventilation panel 4
FIG. 5 is a view showing a support shaft 6 for supporting the support shaft at an upper portion thereof and a support bearing 7 for supporting the support shaft 6 by engaging the support shaft 6 with a hole thereof.
The bearing 7 is attached to the head of the column 2 on the free access floor. However, instead of mounting the support 7, a groove for the support may be formed on the head of the support 2 on the free access floor. The operation of the check valve provided at the location where the airflow path from the main air conditioner to the computer and the airflow path from the alternative air conditioner join has been described. In addition to this, a check valve will be installed at a location near the main air conditioner from the junction. This is to prevent the cooling air from the alternative air conditioner from leaking toward the main air conditioner. In this check valve, the ventilation panel 4 is operated by the cooling air from the main air conditioner during operation of the main air conditioner.
Is flipped up and the valve is open, and when the main air conditioner stops operating, the valve is closed.

As described above, the cooling air generated by the air conditioner is formed under the floor of the free access floor by the under-floor air passage, from the air-conditioner to the place where the computer is installed. It can be sent with almost no heat exchange. When the operation of the main air conditioner and the alternative air conditioner is switched, the air passage can be easily switched by installing a check valve having a simple structure.

As described above, according to the present invention, the electronic equipment inside the electronic computer is hardly exchanged with the air under the free access floor, which does not need to be air-conditioned. It is possible to provide an economical computer cooling system which can sufficiently supply cooling air required for cooling the system and which can reduce operating costs.
