が無端式コンベヤになった巨大な函型容器で、茶生葉は
コンベヤ等の搬送装置を介して茶生葉集積装置に投入さ
れる。この搬送装置の茶生葉集積装置への投入口は一定
速度で茶生葉集積装置上を移動し茶生葉集積装置全体に
茶生葉が投入されるように構成されている。製茶時には
茶生葉集積装置の無端式コンベヤにより茶生葉が茶生葉
集積装置の取り出し口に搬送され、掻き落とし装置に依
って茶生葉が取り出される。ちょうど層状に堆積された

に製茶の途中で茶生葉の性状が変化する為に、製品の品
質に悪影響を与えるという問題を有していた。本発明は
従来の技術の有するこの様な問題点に鑑みてなされたも
のであり、その目的とするところは、製造ラインへ供給
する茶生葉が均一になるように茶生葉集積装置に投入す
る搬送装置及び搬送方法を提供しようとするものであ

集荷場に於いて茶生葉集積装置5への搬送装置は、ホッ
パーを備えた上昇コンベヤ9と茶生葉集積装置5へ投入
する移動可能な水平ベルトコンベヤ3と、上昇コンベヤ
9と移動可能な水平ベルトコンベヤ3を結ぶ中継コンベ
ヤ10から構成されている。移動可能な水平ベルトコン
ベヤ3は、茶生葉集積装置5上で図3の様に茶生葉集積
装置5の全域に茶生葉6が投入されるべく一定速度で移
動する。茶生葉集積装置5のある面積に投入するための
時間は、移動可能な水平ベルトコンベヤ3の移動速度か
ら計算される。搬送装置には茶生葉6の搬送経路途中一
箇所或いは複数箇所に、搬送される茶生葉6の堆積を揃
えるための掻き均し装置2を備える。ベルトコンベヤの
幅は決まっているので茶生葉6の搬送中の高さをそろえ
る装置である。これには邪魔板或いは掻き均し装置2な
どが考えられるが高さをそろえる効果があるものなら何
でも良い。その装置の高さを自在に変更できる装置も必
要である。また搬送装置にはその搬送速度を自在に変更
制御できる搬送速度制御装置4を備える。いま掻き均し
の高さd(cm)でW(kg)の茶生葉を茶生葉集積装
置のある面積a(m2)に投入した時の搬送装置のベル
ト速度(=搬送速度)がv(m/秒)だったとする。同
様に茶生葉がW/2(kg)の時にa(m2)の面積に
投入しようとするとベルト速度をv/2(m/秒)にす
れば良い。また茶生葉が2W(kg)の時にはベルト速
度を2v(m/秒)にすれば良く、この時ベルト速度が
制御値の上限を越えるような場合には茶生葉が2層にな
るようにベルト速度を制御すれば良い。この様に一定面
積に投入するとき茶生葉重量とベルト速度は比例関係に
あるので、ベルト速度を制御する事で茶生葉集積装置5
の一定面積に投入する事は可能である。計測した茶生葉
の重量に依って搬送装置のベルト速度を手動で制御して
も良いし、計算により自動制御させても良い。この様に
投入された茶生葉6に就いて茶生葉集積装置5での堆積
状態を断面で考えると性状の異なる茶生葉6はその重量
に応じて層の厚さは異なるものの、図2の様に全体に層
状を成し、取り出しの掻き落とし時には常に平均的な茶
