Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in the production of molded articles such as weather strips for automobiles, depending on various uses, a halogenated rubber may be used with a metal oxide (for example, ZnO) alone or depending on various uses. A mixture of a metal oxide and an organic vulcanization accelerator is blended, and if necessary, various fillers (eg, stearic acid, SRF,
This method is manufactured by adding a compound of a process oil, a foaming agent, and the like, followed by molding and vulcanization. In addition, sulfur is similarly added to other rubbers, for example, EPDM, and a compound such as an organic vulcanization accelerator and, if necessary, the above-mentioned various fillers is added. It is manufactured by. In some cases, organic peroxide vulcanization can also be performed.

As the number of times increases, there is a problem that the surface of the mold becomes dirty, the gloss of the surface of the molded product disappears, and the skin becomes rough.
When examining the cause, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, in the conventional sponge compound, when the vulcanization reaction proceeds in the mold 10, the generated radicals (S ·) of sulfur S are generated. Most are consumed for rubber crosslinking (vulcanization), but the mold surface is Fe
In the case of (iron), Fe and (S •) react to form FeS
It has been found that (iron sulfide) is generated and increases every shot, forming a dirt base 20 as shown in FIG. In three shots, the surface of the mold was substantially blackened by reacting with sulfur S, and the number of shots was further increased. As shown in FIG. And the like adhere to the surface to form a dirt film 30, and a sea / island pattern is formed on the surface of the mold to impede the flow of rubber. Observed).

As the addition ratio of the natural zeolite increases, the stain on the mold decreases, and the number of shots before the mold needs to be cleaned increases. If the addition ratio is 7 parts by weight in (shot), the flow of the rubber is deteriorated and the mold is dropped. Also, as for the synthetic zeolite, the number of shots before the mold needs to be cleaned increases as the addition ratio increases, but the flow increases when the addition ratio reaches 5 parts by weight to a peak (300 shots) and further increases. It gets worse and loses mold. This is because the rate at which sulfur S reacts with iron (Fe) on the mold surface exceeds the rate at which zeolite adsorbs sulfur, and the rate at which sulfur S reacts with the double bonds of the polymer Go faster than FeS
This is because it becomes difficult to form a dirt base.

I can do it. In addition, only the conclusion is that the particle size of the zeolite is preferably 0.5 to 10 microns, and it is effective for halogenated rubbers other than EPDM as rubber for molded products.
