Description of the Related Art A suede-like fabric obtained by impregnating a brushed knitted woven fabric having ultrafine fiber nap with a polymer elastic material has been known. The purpose of impregnating the polymer elastic body is to improve the wear strength and obtain a leather-like appearance and feeling,
As the applying method, a coating method, a method of squeezing with two rolls made of rubber or metal after dipping and impregnation, and the like are known (Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 52-143203, Japanese Patent Publication No. Sho 53-12).
No. 565). In the suede-like fabric obtained by these methods, the polymer elastic body adheres to the base fabric layer of the knitted fabric, and the structure of the knitted fabric is restrained by inter-fiber adhesion of the base fabric layer,
When the impregnation amount of the polymer elastic body is increased and the wear strength is improved, flexibility and air permeability are lacked, and when the impregnation amount is reduced and the flexibility is improved, the wear strength is reduced. That is, there was no suede-like fabric composed of a raised knitted fabric having ultrafine fiber nap having high abrasion strength, flexibility, and air permeability, and a polymer elastic material.

The entangled bond is fixed mainly in the form of a horizontal nap, not in the vertical nap direction of the fiber, and furthermore, the base cloth layer has a structure substantially free of a polymer elastic body and having no inter-fiber adhesion. A suede-like fabric having excellent wear strength and excellent flexibility and breathability.

For reference, a cross-sectional electron micrograph of a commercially available suede-like fabric is shown in FIG. As is clear from these photographs, the conventional suede-like fabric has a polymer elastic body attached and impregnated up to the base fabric layer, whereas the suede-like fabric of the present invention has a raised layer, a porous layer, and a base fabric layer. Is clear, and the base fabric layer does not include an elastic body.

The ultrafine fibers used in the present invention are those obtained from a direct spun fiber peelable conjugate fiber, a sea-island type polymer mutual array fiber, and the fineness thereof is 0.8 denier or less, preferably 0.3 denier or less.
It is less than denier. If it exceeds 0.8 denier, abrasion strength can be easily obtained, but the hand is coarse and hard, and a preferable fabric cannot be obtained.

A solution dissolved in a solvent such as N'-dimethylformamide (DMF), N-N'-dimethylacetamide (DMAC), or tetrahydrofuran is used. Various additives such as a pigment, an antioxidant, an ultraviolet absorber, a surfactant, and a pore regulator can be added to the polyurethane solution.
It is preferable to select a urethane solution containing various additives having a urethane solid concentration of 7 to 15% and a viscosity of 100 to 10,000 centipoise in order to satisfy high wear strength, flexibility and air permeability. .

It is important that the raised knitted fabric is appropriately treated with water or an aqueous solution in which a water-soluble solvent is previously dissolved. As the water-soluble solvent, DMF, DMAC, methanol, ethanol, isopropanol and the like can be used. As a method of applying water or an aqueous solution thereof to the raised knitted fabric, a method of immersing in water or an aqueous solution followed by squeezing with a vacuum dehydrator or a roll. Alternatively, a method of coating the back surface of the raised knitted fabric by a method such as gravure coating, reverse roll coating, or kiss roll coating is preferable.

When the urethane solution provided to the substrate comes into contact with water or an aqueous solution having a function as a coagulant, the coagulation is started, and as a result, the urethane solution is prevented from penetrating into the base fabric layer.

As the coagulant, water, methanol, ethanol or an aqueous solution mainly containing water is used. The wet coagulated sheet obtained by such a method is very flexible. However, since the fibers are not exposed in a rubber-like state when wet coagulation is completed, the fibers are exposed and napped by performing a grinding process using sandpaper or the like.

The nip roller was used to adjust the amount of adhesion to 60% of the weight of the drawn base fabric. Thereafter, the previously prepared urethane solution was applied to a 800 g / m 2 fluff surface with a knife coater, immediately solidified in water, sufficiently desolvated in hot water, and dried.
The coated surface was buffed with # 240 sandpaper until the fibers were exposed. The suede-like fabric obtained in this manner contains no polymer elastic body at all in the base fabric and only adheres to the root of the nap portion, and as shown in Table 1, has a high degree of wear strength and flexibility. It was excellent in air permeability. FIG. 1 shows an electron micrograph of the suede-like fabric. As shown in FIG. 1, there was no polymer elastic body in the base cloth, and the urethane intermediate layer was composed of open cells, and the entangled bonds of the fibers in the urethane intermediate layer were mainly fixed in the form of horizontal naps.
