Description of the Related Art A conventional industrial knitting machine feeds yarn to a knitting needle by operating a yarn feeder with a carriage, and the knitting needle guides a butt of the knitting needle to a cam groove of a cam built in the carriage. Knitting operation to form a loop by catching the yarn supply. The carriage having a built-in cam needs to reciprocate in parallel with the knitting bed surface in order to operate the yarn feeder. Naturally, the cam built in the carriage also reciprocates in parallel with the bed surface.

Has the role of converting the operation of the cam moving parallel to the knitting needle into the operation of the knitting needle moving at right angles to the bed. A large impact force is applied between the butt and the cam groove, which is a contact point for the change of the motion direction, and sometimes a trouble such as breakage of the bat or damage to the cam groove may occur. Although this impact force depends on the speed of the carriage, it is structurally determined by the angle of the cam groove with respect to the direction of movement of the cam, that is, the cam angle.

Generally, it is at most about 50 degrees for a reason or the like. Therefore, depending on the gauge of the knitting machine, generally, a plurality of knitting needles are going to descend for knitting motion along the groove of the lowering cam, and the yarn is simultaneously pulled down by two or three knitting needles. Will be tried. Conventionally, the yarn is knitted in such a manner that the yarn is bent and squeezed between these two or three needles and the sinker portion existing between the needles to finally form a loop. It is a method of knitting a weft knitted fabric by technology.

In the stage of forming, excessive tension is applied. For this reason, there has been a problem in that the soft hand inherent to the yarn for knitting such as spun yarn is impaired and the hand-knitted hand cannot be obtained by machine knitting.

The present invention solves such problems caused by the prior art, and knits a weft knitted fabric having the same texture as hand-knitting without impairing the good texture originally possessed by the yarn, or has conventionally made it difficult to knit the machine. For example, it is an object of the present invention to provide a method of knitting a weft knitted fabric that enables knitting of a thread that is easy to be cut as necessary.

The knitting machine used was a knitting machine described in "Knitting Method of Weft Knitted Fabric" in Japanese Patent Publication No. 01-012855, and the gauge was a 6 gauge machine. The knitted fabric has a flat knitting structure. FIG. 2 is a view of a knitting portion in an embodiment of the knitting method according to the present invention when viewed from above at right angles to the knitting bed surface.

The yarn 3 supplied from the leading end of the knitting 2 is caught by the hook H of each knitting needle to form a loop L to knit a knitted fabric having a flat knitting structure. Yarn feeder represents the position of the hook of the knitting needle before and after when the leading end of the yarn feeder is moved to the left as indicated by arrow comes to the position of the knitting needle N 3 with a broken line in FIG. The pattern indicated by the broken line 4 is a so-called knitting pattern, and the operation of each knitting needle is controlled by each actuator by a control device (not shown) so that the knitting pattern follows the movement of the yarn feeder. This knitting pattern corresponds to a cam groove pattern according to the prior art using the cam system, and the angle θ shown in the figure also corresponds to a cam angle according to the prior art.

Is completely formed, the hook H1 of the next knitting needle N1 has not yet caught the yarn supply 3. Accordingly, the yarn supply 3 is directly supplied to the formation of the loop Lo by the hook Ho of the knitting needle No without being bent halfway after exiting from the tip of the yarn supply port 2. Therefore, sera bent by the hook h1, h2 of the yarn feeding 3 knitting needles n1 or n2 so far knitting Naruhari no as knitting method according to the prior art shown in FIG. 1 to form a complete loop lo <br / It has become possible to form a loop in a state in which the yarn feed is more natural, without being damaged by, for example, receiving large frictional resistance. At this time, the angle θ was about 70 degrees.
