2. Description of the Related Art The scale of human waste treatment facilities and various kinds of sewage treatment facilities has been increasing, and the amount of generated sludge has increased accordingly. In order to solidify into useful building materials, etc., there is a problem that strength is not obtained due to mainly organic substances and there is a problem of smell. Attempts have been made to use fertilizer (Japanese Patent Application No. 9-280460), but the amount of fertilizer produced is large, resulting in overproduction.

The sludge, buckwheat husk, coffee grounds, and the like generated in human waste treatment facilities and various sewage treatment facilities can be effectively used. It is one of the options as a means.
However, at the time of incineration, measures against the generation of dioxin are required, and a heating source is also required. Therefore, the present inventor studied a waste continuous carbonization method capable of recovering generated gas without using a conventional combustion method and capable of continuously operating without particularly heating, and a device used therefor. . In particular, it has been studied to eliminate clogging caused by wood vinegar or the like on the raw material supply side due to the carbonization method in a reducing atmosphere.

[0008] Normally, when carbonized in a reducing atmosphere to obtain a carbide, wood vinegar and other organic gases are generated. When the organic gas collecting unit 7 is provided below the carbonization unit 4 and suction is performed as in the apparatus of the present invention, in a device in which a lattice is simply provided below the carbonization unit 4, the lattice is clogged, and continuous carbonization is hindered. . Therefore, in the waste continuous carbonization apparatus according to the present invention, details are shown in FIG. 2, but below the continuous carbonization section 4, a plurality of passage holes 11a, 12a
An upper opening plate 11 and a lower opening plate 12 having The upper and lower passage holes 11a and 12a are located at the same position in the vertical direction depending on the position where the upper opening plate 11 and the lower opening plate 12 are present, so that the carbide 4 can drop. A downward scraping plate 11b is provided on the bottom surface of the upper opening plate 11 in order to promote the falling. A cylinder 15 provided on the machine base 1 side as a swinging means 14 is connected to the upper opening plate 11, and is swingably suspended from the inner wall of the inner cylinder 3 by a suspension band 13.

Next, an example of continuous carbonization of sludge using the waste continuous carbonization apparatus will be described. As shown in Table 1, carbonization treatment was performed by adding a feed back of 1,440 g of the carbide obtained in the previous step as a carbonization aid to 4,880 g of sludge generated by the microbial activation treatment of the food processing facility. The average water content of the mixture thereof was 70.6%, and the organic mass in the input amount of 6,320 g was 1,855 g. The mixture was thoroughly mixed and stirred, granulated using a granulator, and then dried. This was put in the carbonized part 4 and a burner flame was caused to act on the carbonized part 4 until the initial carbonization was stabilized. Carbonization of the reducing atmosphere was performed in a state where there was almost no supply of air, and the carbide was dropped downward by periodically moving the upper opening plate 11 left and right by the rocking means 14. At this time, the exhaust fan 9 was turned to forcibly suck and remove the organic gas such as wood vinegar generated as a result of carbonization from the suction duct 8.

FIG. 3 shows a carbonization process diagram of the present invention. As a result of carbonization in this reducing atmosphere, 948 g of carbide was obtained from the sludge + carbonization of the input amount of 6,320 g, and 907 g of wood vinegar and the like were volatilized. By using a total of 948 g of the obtained carbide as feedback, continuous carbonization was possible. Also, considering the balance, we will commercialize some of them as carbides. Table 2 shows the analysis results of an example of the obtained carbide. Some adsorption capacity is observed in the adsorption test. It is considered that the activation treatment further enhances the adsorption ability.
