For example, an organic solvent type using a vehicle obtained by dissolving nitrified cotton / polyamide resin type, nitrified cotton / maleic acid resin type, nitrified cotton / polyurethane type or chlorinated polypropylene type in a hydrocarbon type, ester type or ketone type organic solvent. Gravure printing ink was used. For this reason, such inks have fundamental problems in terms of safety, hygiene, volatilization of organic solvents in the atmosphere, and the like. Therefore, water-based gravure printing inks are also desired from the viewpoint of resource saving and energy saving. Rarely, some have been put to practical use today.

Propylcellulose, urethane-modified acrylic resin, water-soluble urethane,
There is a printing ink using a water-soluble polyester or the like or a resin made of a mixture thereof as a binder. However, none of these water-based gravure printing inks are sufficient in terms of water resistance and alkali resistance, and have poor adhesion when applied to plastic films such as polyethylene, polypropylene, and polyester, and have sufficient adhesion. There was a problem that strength could not be maintained.

It has been found for the first time by the present inventors that the printing suitability is as good as that of the organic solvent type.

On the other hand, if the amount is too large, the print quality such as the density and gloss of the gravure printed matter and the adhesion to paper and plastic deteriorates, which is not preferable.
