Description of the Related Art Generally, a window-type air conditioner is provided with an installation frame on a window frame, and discharges heat generated by an outdoor heat exchanger during a cooling operation to the outside of a room using a half-opened window opening. It is installed and used. Among these, there is a type in which the air conditioner does not protrude out of the window so that the window can be completely closed. This includes a drain guide for discharging drain water generated during cooling operation to the outside. When the window is opened, the tip of the window is opened so that it can be drained through a drain pipe, and when the window is closed, it is stored in the room.

Reference numeral 8 denotes an installation frame, 9 denotes a window frame to which the door 5 is attached so as to be openable and closable, 10 denotes a drain receiver attached to the window frame 9, and 11 denotes a gutter-shaped member provided at a lower portion of the main body 7. It is a drain guide made of synthetic resin formed in the above. The drain guide 11 includes a circular tip 12 and a water guide 13, and the tip 12 has a rotating body 14 having a disc part with a larger diameter than this.
Is rotatably provided on a rotating body support shaft 15 erected at the bottom, and a cap nut 16 is screwed to a tip of the rotating body support shaft 15. Thereby, the tip portion 12 is covered with the rotating body 14 so as to provide a gap between the tip portion 12 and the upper end of the side wall. A drain pipe 17 is connected to the drain receiver 10, and a drain hole (not shown) is formed at the bottom of the tip 12.

The distal end portion 12 rides over the edge of the door frame 6 so as to protrude to the outside of the room so as to slightly rotate in a direction opposite to the direction of FIG. Even when the door 5 is opened sharply in the direction of arrow B when the door 5 is opened, the rotating body 14 pivots in the direction of arrow C although the edge of the door frame 6 violently hits the outer peripheral portion of the rotating body 14 and the drain guide 11 rotates a little in the direction opposite to the direction of arrow A, and the tip 12 gets over the edge of the door frame 6. For this reason, it does not happen that the front end portion 12 and the edge of the door frame 6 interfere with each other and the door 5 cannot be opened.

Horizontal fins 35 of vessel 23
Water droplets adhere to the surface. Thus fin 3
The water droplets of the drain water adhering to 5 have an increased temperature as the outdoor heat exchanger 23 serves as an evaporator during the cooling operation.
Since the outdoor heat exchanger 23 is provided in the ventilation path of the outdoor blower 24, it evaporates quickly, and the outdoor blower 2
4, the air is discharged from the outdoor air outlet 28 to the outside of the room.

It is conceivable that the amount of drain water supplied to the outdoor heat exchanger 23 becomes a large amount in a state of water droplets, and exceeds the evaporation processing capacity of the outdoor heat exchanger 23. When drain water exceeding the evaporation processing capacity is generated in this manner, the water not treated in the outdoor heat exchanger 23 is again discharged to the sprinkling section 3.
1, the water may overflow from the water sprinkling section 31 and further overflow the main body 21, or may become large water droplets directly from the outdoor heat exchanger 23 to the outside of the room.

For example, it is formed of a porous body having a degree of air permeability such that water droplets formed by foaming polyurethane or synthetic fibers formed in a net shape, or non-woven laminated synthetic short fibers do not penetrate. . Note that 6

The water is scraped and scattered by 59 and adheres to the horizontal fins 56 of the outdoor heat exchanger 54 as small water droplets. The water droplets of the drain water adhering to the fins 56 pass through the fins 56 due to the temperature of the outdoor heat exchanger 54 raised by the cooling operation and the provision of the outdoor heat exchanger 54 in the ventilation path of the outdoor blower 53. It evaporates quickly due to the flowing wind, and the outdoor blower 5
With the air taken in by 3, the air is discharged outside from the outdoor air outlet 50.

As a result, a large amount of drain water is held in the evaporation promoting member 52, and is discharged to the outside of the room by spontaneous evaporation from one surface of the evaporation promoting member 52 exposed to the rear surface on the outdoor side. The water collected without evaporating below the evaporation promoting member 52 is collected by the gutter-shaped member 61, returned to the drain receiving member 57, scooped up by the water spray fan 59, scattered and evaporated.

The drain water treatment capacity is greatly improved. In addition, since the evaporation promoting member 52 has a large water retaining capacity, a large amount of drain water can be held in the evaporation promoting member 52. For this reason, there is no danger that the drain water overflows outside the main body 41 or drip outside the room even when the continuous operation is performed in an environment of high humidity.

However, a partial cross-sectional view may be configured as in a modification shown in FIG. . That is, the evaporation promoting member 52 'has an uneven surface having convex portions 52a of a predetermined height on both front and rear surfaces, whereby the evaporation area is increased, natural evaporation is promoted, and the treatment capacity of the drain water is further increased. Still further, the projection 52

Shaped member and the lower end placed on it,
Vertical evaporation promoting member made of porous material so that one side is exposed
The construction further provided, the effect of such a possibility is eliminated such evaporation capacity, etc. resulting in overflow to the drain water to the outside of the apparatus improves.
