2. Description of the Related Art As a prior art relating to a used printing paper reproducing apparatus, there are, for example, JP-A-4-300395 and JP-A-4-118500. The patent is characterized in that “the solvent is immersed in the printed portion and the toner is dissolved by a spraying method”. However, this method is generally unsuitable for installation in an office due to the effect of the solvent on the human body and the environment. In addition, it is necessary to use a plurality of types of solvents depending on the type of binder resin of the toner or the paint, and there is a drawback that an object to be processed is limited. Furthermore, when the toner is dissolved with a solvent, the probability of redeposition in the fiber structure of the paper increases, the total removal rate decreases, and problems such as "staining" are difficult to avoid. The cost is higher than the waste paper recycling method.

The constituent material of the means for removing (sharpening) the image components formed on the image support may be metal, plastic, rubber, fiber material, or a combination of these materials. Suitable shape,
For example, it is used in a shape such as a cylindrical shape. Further, the removing means may have a suitable shaving structure (for example, a projection) on its surface or an abrasive such as microspheres.
As a means for removing such image components, a plastic film (for example, wrapping films # 400 and # 10) is used.
00), and mechanical scrubbing means using a rotary cutter blade, a gliding grindstone, a buff cloth, a hard brush or the like as shown in FIG. 2A. Among the above-described removing means, a removing means softer than paper is particularly preferable. As such means, a metal, a metal, or the like on a substrate softer than paper as shown in FIG.
A polishing cloth having microspheres made of rubber, plastic, or the like, or a metal, plastic, or rubber roller coated with the polishing cloth as shown in FIG. 3 may be used.

The removal of the image layer by the above-mentioned mechanical means is preferably carried out by pressing the image support with an appropriate pressure. The preferred range of the pressure varies depending on the type of the removing means, but is a range in which no excessive pressure is applied to the image support, for example, about 1 to 50 g / cm 2 . To adjust the pressure of the image support, for example, as shown in FIG.
As shown in FIG. 5A, an elastic body is provided in contact with the surface of the paper opposite to the image layer removing means to perform the removing process. As shown in FIG. Means for removing by applying wind pressure from the paper surface. The processing speed is preferably in the range of 1 mm / sec to 1 m / sec.
Further, before performing the image layer removal treatment, as shown in FIG. 7, the image layer is crushed by a roll crusher 16 having a micro pattern, for example, a micro pattern having a surface unevenness of 5 to 20 μm formed on the roll surface. When lashing is performed, damage to the paper due to the removal processing is reduced, and the removal of the image layer can be performed smoothly.
Further, when the toner resin constituting the image layer is melted, rapidly cooled to change into a large block pattern, and the image layer is removed, the removal of the image layer is similarly performed with less damage to the paper and efficiently. It can be carried out. In the crushing process, the paper supply roller shown in FIG. 2A is generally configured such that the components of the image layer formed on the paper surface, for example, the toner resin and the paper are covalently bonded via an OH group or a COOH group. That is, in the case of a dense paper, the components are hardly penetrated into the fiber structure, but the components are hardly invaded by a chemical bond or a hydrogen bond. Most of the components of the image layer, for example, 9
9% or more can be removed.

Next, as shown in FIG. 6, a slight amount of the image layer component remaining in the fiber structure is roughened on the outermost surface of the heating and pressing roller on the side where the image layer is formed. Between a pressure and heating roller (60 to 150 ° C.) 8 which is provided with cloth, paper, sponge-like porous material, etc., and can reversely transfer image components such as molten toner and resin to the roller side by reverse capillary action. And can be removed by reverse transfer to the heating and pressing roller side.

The image components generated by the above-mentioned processing and remaining on the image support are converted into (a) magnetic force of a magnet roller or the like, (b) static electricity of an electrostatic brush or the like, and airflow such as airflow due to forced fan. Using a spraying method. For example, toner powder scattered on an image support can be easily cleaned by using magnetic force or static electricity because the toner is designed to be charged to (+).

Finally, when the surface of the image support is roughened by the above-described steps, the roughened surface is repaired as necessary. The restoration process is performed by a pressure process using a pressure roller, for example, as shown in FIG. As the pressure roller, an elastic roller is preferable, and one or a plurality of pressure roller pairs can be employed. The treatment may be performed while heating, and is particularly preferably performed under high-temperature steam.
