2. Description of the Related Art It has been widely practiced to cover an outer wall surface of a building with a glass panel with a structure as shown in FIGS. This conventional structure is formed by combining squares 1 and 1 arranged in a vertical direction and stitches 2 and 2 arranged in a horizontal direction in a grid pattern. The glass panel 3 holds the periphery of the glass panel 3 inside the groove formed in each of the members 1 and 2 at a portion surrounded by the four sides 1 and 2 and the blinds 2 and 2. Supported by. In the case where the entire outer wall surface is covered with the glass panels 3 and 3, the portions other than the windows on the indoor side are light-shielding panels 4,

[0003] Each of the above-mentioned cubicles 1 and 1 and solid meshes 2 and 2 is made of an extruded material made of aluminum.
When these members 1 and 2 are exposed to the outdoor side as they are, the appearance of the building becomes inorganic. For this reason, as described in, for example, JP-A-3-107043, a decorative sash in which a part of the window frame exposed to the outer wall surface is made of a synthetic resin is known.

[0004] This conventionally known makeup sash is shown in FIG.
As shown in FIG. 2, the main frame 5 is an extruded material of aluminum (including pure aluminum and an aluminum alloy; the same applies throughout the present specification), and the auxiliary frame 6 is an extruded material of synthetic resin. Three ridges 7 and 8 are formed on the outdoor side surface of the main frame 5, and spaces between adjacent ridges 7 and 8 are defined as locking grooves 9 and 9. On the indoor side surface of the auxiliary frame 6, a locking ridge 46 having a shape and a size that can be pushed into the locking grooves 9, 9 is formed.

[0005] On the outer surface of the locking ridge 46 and the inner surfaces of the locking grooves 9, 9 are formed ratchet-like corrugated portions that can be engaged with each other. Therefore, the locking ridges 46
Can be pushed into the locking grooves 9, 9 while elastically deforming the ridges 7, 8, but after being pushed, the locking ridges 46 become It is prevented from coming out of the locking grooves 9 and 9.

In this manner, the main frame 5 and the auxiliary frame 6 are combined to form a decorative sash, and the aluminum main frame 5 is exposed on the outer wall surface of the building while supporting the peripheral portion of the glass panel 3. Instead, only the synthetic resin auxiliary frame 6 is exposed. Therefore, the appearance of the building does not become inorganic.

[0010] It was conceived to adjust the appearance of the outer wall,
In the case of the structure of the second example, the glass panel 3 is held down by the auxiliary frame 6 made of synthetic resin, but the holding force of the auxiliary frame 6 is sufficiently ensured, and the outdoor pressure is lower than the indoor pressure. In this case, in order to prevent the glass panel 3 from falling off, the thickness of the auxiliary frame 6 must be considerably increased. As a result, the projecting amount of the auxiliary frame 6 from the outdoor surface of the glass panel 3 is increased, and the degree of freedom in designing the outer wall surface of the building is limited.

Similarly, in the case of the structure of the second example, it is difficult to secure the supporting strength of the glass panel 3 by the auxiliary frame 6 made of synthetic resin. In particular, when the auxiliary frame 6 is heated during a fire, the supporting force of the auxiliary frame 6 is lost, and the glass panel 3 may fall.

The method of assembling a glass panel with a decorative sash according to the present invention satisfies the following conditions (a) to (l). (A) A first step of combining an upper frame, a lower frame, and left and right vertical frames into a rectangular shape, each of which is an extruded material of aluminum, and joining them together to form a main frame. (B) An upper locking groove is formed on the lower surface of the upper frame, and an upper support packing is locked on the indoor side wall of the upper locking groove. (C) A lower locking groove is formed on the upper surface of the lower frame, and a lower support packing is locked on the indoor side wall of the lower locking groove. (D) With the upper, lower, and both supporting packings locked on the indoor side wall, the width dimensions of the upper, lower, and both locking concave grooves are equal to those of the glass panel to be supported inside the main frame. Be larger than the thickness dimension. (E) A stepped portion having a support wall facing the outdoor side is formed at an end of the left and right vertical frames closer to the outside on the inner peripheral side,
The vertical support packing must be locked to the support wall. (F) Inserting the upper end of the glass panel into the upper retaining groove in a state where the glass panel is slightly inclined in the direction toward the indoor side toward the upper side, and the lower edge of the glass panel is By moving the lower edge of the glass panel above the opening of the lower locking groove, facing the opening of the lower locking groove, and then lowering the glass panel, A second step of locking the upper and lower edges of the panel with the upper locking groove and the lower locking groove. (G) A vertical-side restraining member is attached to the outdoor side end of the left and right vertical frames, and the vertical-side retaining groove sandwiching the left and right side edges of the glass panel by the vertical-side restraining member and the step portion. Having a third step. (H) The width dimension of the vertical locking groove is larger than the thickness of the glass panel with the vertical support packing attached. (I) On the outdoor side surface of the upper frame, the lower frame, and the vertical side holding member,
Entrance grooves are provided so that the width of the entrance is narrower than the width of the back. (J) A covering member made of a non-metal elastic material is inserted into the engaging groove formed on the indoor side surface of each covering member on the outdoor side surface of the upper frame, the lower frame, and the vertical side holding member. Having a fourth step of attaching. (K) each of the covering members includes a main portion that covers the outdoor side surface of the upper frame, the lower frame, and the vertical-side suppressing member; and an auxiliary portion that is coupled to the main portion via a deformable thin portion. At the tip of the auxiliary part, a protrusion which can be pushed into between the outdoor side wall of each of the above-mentioned upper, lower, and vertical locking recesses and the outdoor side surface of the glass panel is formed. (L) After the fourth step, a fifth step of pushing the protrusion between the outdoor side wall of each locking groove and the outdoor side surface of the glass panel is provided.

Packings 19, 19 are locked to 8, 18. The packings 19, 19 correspond to vertical support packings. In addition, it is preferable to use one continuous packing 19 for supporting the indoor side surface of the single glass panel 3. For this purpose, the ends of the locking grooves 18, 18 formed in the above-described pressing edges 14, 24 are made continuous with each other.

As described above, if the rectangular main frame 25 is constructed in the first step, then, in the second step, the main frame 25 is formed.
The glass panel 3 is erected on the inside. This erection work is performed, for example, such that a shoji is erected between the gate and the threshold. That is, first, the glass panel 3 is slightly inclined in the direction toward the indoor side as it goes upward, and the upper end of the glass panel 3 is placed in the main frame 25 in this state.
, And the upper edge of the glass panel 3 is opposed to the lower end opening of the locking concave groove 26b on the lower surface of the upper surface 11a.

In the fourth step, each of the covering members 38, 38
If the main portions 40, 40 are attached to the outdoor side surfaces of the members 11a, 11b, 30, then, as a fifth step, the auxiliary portions 4 are deformed while the thin portions 42, 42 are deformed.
1, 41 are displaced indoors. Then, the locking protrusions 43 are engaged with the locking grooves 45.
At the same time, the respective protrusions 44, 44 are provided between the outdoor side walls of the respective locking concave grooves 26a, 26b, 36, 36 and the outdoor side surfaces of the glass panel 3, and The packings 19, 19 are pushed in while being elastically deformed. As a result of this pushing operation, the four peripheral portions of the glass panel 3 are brought into contact with the locking grooves 26a, 26b, 36, 36.
The glass panel with the decorative sash is completed without being rattled inside the panel.
