Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a thread cutting device for a sewing machine having a half-turn hook having a middle hook blade point disposed between a needle drop position and a lower thread lead-out point of a bobbin. It concerns the device. 2. Description of the Related Art A bobbin lower thread lead-out point (of a bobbin case)
A sewing machine having a half-turn kettle (hereinafter, referred to as a DB-type half-turn hook) having a needle drop position between a corner) and a middle hook point is widely used, and its thread cutting device (FIG. 7 (1)) the fulcrum 3 of the moving knife 1 as viewed from the operator on the right side ahead of the needle drop position O, the moving knife 1 are available at the front, and the lower thread movable knife 1 during handling member, loosened in the order of upper thread Things. In this thread cutting device, the lower thread to be cut and the upper thread on the cloth side, which are inevitably determined from the configuration of the shuttle, are substantially aligned with the needle drop position O as shown in FIG. , Moving knife 1
It is possible to minimize the respective displacement amounts of the lower thread and the cloth-side upper thread due to the forward movement of. The thread cutting is performed as shown in FIG. The moving knife 1 moves forward from the standby state shown in (1) as shown in (2) and loosens (moves the lower thread and the cloth-side upper thread by the forward movement of the moving knife prior to cutting the thread). (Operation to guide the knives to the thread reeling portion). The upper thread is sufficiently drawn into the shuttle, so that the leading end of the moving section of the moving knife can reliably enter. And, as shown by the black arrow in (3),
The lower thread is loosened. The lower thread separation amount is expressed as a difference between the distance from the support shaft of the moving knife to the leading end of the separation portion and the distance from the support shaft to the end of the separation portion. A large force other than the restoring force of the lower thread itself and the force of the sewing machine feed does not act on the lower thread that has been separated and bent, but the lower thread can be sufficiently returned because the amount of separation is small. Next, as shown in (4), the cloth-side upper thread is separated. The upper thread has a large change in behavior, such as pulling up the balance and removing the thread from the shuttle, as compared with the lower thread.
Although it is necessary to move in the direction of the arrow (1), since this direction coincides with the forward movement direction of the moving knife, the smallest amount of loosening can be effectively given. As shown in (5), the moving knife retreats last, and the loosened cloth-side upper thread passes over the outer periphery of the loosening portion of the moving knife and enters the thread reeling portion. As shown in (6), the moving knife 1 starts to move backward, and the thread is threaded on the yarn handing portion in the order of the cloth side upper thread and the lower thread, and as shown in (7),
The upper thread is pulled up by the balance and held so as to be wound around the moving knife. And the lower thread is pulled out by a moving knife,
The required amount is paid out. At this time, the reciprocating speed of the moving knife 1 is controlled so that the bobbin does not spin out (excessive rotation) because the bobbin thread is pulled out too fast and does not adversely affect the next sewing start. The upper thread held by the moving knife 1 is a remaining thread on the needle side after thread cutting. Finally, as shown in (8), the upper thread and the lower thread on the cloth side are cut. Since the cutting position is right beside the needle hole, the yarn end remaining on the back of the cloth F is short, and good quality can be secured. Then, the moving knife 1 is set to an appropriate width, and the shape of the hole 5 of the cauldron upper spring 4 and the cutting direction of the thread are determined as described above. And each length of the lower thread end can be secured. By the way, in a sewing machine having a half-turn rotary hook of the DB type, perfect stitches are formed when feeding forward (feeding from left to right), and hitch stitches are formed when feeding backward (feeding from right to left). It is not suitable for automatic eight-way sewing. On the other hand, a sewing machine provided with a half-turn kettle (hereinafter, referred to as a DP-type half-turn hook) having an intermediate hook point disposed between a needle drop position and a bobbin lower thread take-out point is also known (Japanese Patent No. 99353). ), Perfect stitches are formed at the time of both forward and reverse feeding, and it is suitable for an eight-way sewing automatic sewing machine. However, it has not been widely used and its thread cutting device has not been developed. [0005] Therefore, as in the case of a sewing machine having a DB type half-turn hook, a thread cutting device that separates a lower thread with a moving knife and then separates an upper thread is applied to the sewing machine. That is, in this thread cutting device, as shown in FIG. 7 (2), when viewed from the operator, the support shaft 3 of the moving knife 1 is located on the left rear side of the needle drop position O, the moving knife stands by behind, and The moving knife 1 separates the lower thread and the upper thread in the order of thread separation. In this yarn cutting device, the lower thread and the cloth-side upper thread to be cut, which are inevitably determined from the configuration of the shuttle, are both on the front side of the hole 5 of the upper spring 4 of the cauldron. As in the case of a sewing machine having such a configuration, it is not possible to simply adopt a configuration in which the needle drop position O is aligned in a straight line. Therefore, it is not possible to minimize the respective displacement amounts of the lower thread and the cloth upper thread due to the forward movement of the moving knife 1. The thread cutting is performed as shown in FIG. [0006] The moving knife 1 moves forward from the standby position shown in (1) as shown in (2) and (3), and first, loosening is performed from the lower thread. Next, as shown in (4), the cloth-side upper thread is loosened, but the upper thread behaves largely due to pulling up of the balance, picking up of the shuttle, etc., and the cloth-side upper thread exists anywhere in the range of the arrow in FIG. 7 (2). It is not possible to determine whether to perform this operation, and it is necessary to increase the amount of displacement of the cloth-side upper thread. For this reason, the lower thread is also largely loosened, and the largely loosened lower thread having a weak restoring force remains unreturned as indicated by the mark * in (4). In the last retreat state shown in (5), the cloth-side upper thread that has been loosened by the thread take-up motion of the shuttle returns, but the lower thread is still bent. Next, as shown in (6), the moving knife 1 starts the backward movement, and the thread is threaded on the thread reeling portion in the order of the cloth side upper thread and the lower thread. However, the return of the lower thread is often incomplete. In this case, the lower thread is cut poorly (here, the thread is hooked). After the thread is hooked, the upper thread is pulled up by the balance and the lower thread is fed out by moving the moving knife 1 back as shown in (7). Then, as shown in (8), the moving knife 1 cuts each thread by hand and secures a necessary length to cut the thread. However, since the thread is cut on the side opposite to the side where the lower thread comes out, The bobbin case-side lower thread remains longer than the moving knife width compared to a sewing machine thread cutting device having a DB-type half-turn hook. [0007] A conventional type thread cutting device, in which a lower thread is separated from a sewing machine having a DP-type half-turning hook and then the upper thread is separated from the sewing machine, is used. Since the distance from the first separation of the thread to the separation of the cloth-side upper thread, which has a large behavior, is long and the momentum of the moving knife 1 needs to be increased, the amount of loosening the lower thread physically increases. When returning, the lower thread cannot be hooked on the thread reeling section, and lower thread cutting failure frequently occurs. Further, as a result of an increase in the amount of threading of the lower thread due to the relationship between the positions of the spindles of the moving knife 1, the length of the remaining lower thread of the bobbin case after thread cutting becomes longer, and a bird's nest occurs at the start of the next sewing. , Lowering the sewing quality. Further, the behavior given to the bobbin thread is large during loosening, threading, and threading, and the idling (excessive rotation) of the bobbin is large, thereby deteriorating the sewing quality. [0008] The present invention provides a thread cutting device that does not cause a cutting failure and does not lower the sewing quality in a sewing machine having a half-turn hook having a middle hook point disposed between a needle drop position and a lower thread lead-out point of a bobbin. It is intended to provide. In order to achieve the above object, a yarn cutting device according to the present invention comprises a needle drop position and a bobbin casing.

It is characterized in that thread handling is performed in the order of thread and bobbin thread . In the yarn cutting device constructed as described above, the upper thread on the cloth side is loosened more than the lower thread, the behavior of the lower thread is smaller, and the upper thread is also threaded at the yarn hooking position by the thread pick-up of the shuttle. The lower thread and the cloth-side upper thread are securely hooked by the moving knife, and the lower thread and the cloth-side upper thread are reliably cut. Further, the amount of manual threading of the bobbin thread becomes shorter depending on the position of the support shaft of the moving knife. Referring to FIGS. 1 to 4, FIG. 7 (3) and FIG. 8, an embodiment of a yarn cutting apparatus according to the present invention will be described. This thread cutting device has a half-rotation hook (DP type half-rotation hook: middle hook ) in which an intermediate hook blade point is arranged between the needle drop position and the lower thread lead-out point (bobbin case corner 13) of the bobbin. (Rotating counterclockwise)), the support shaft 3 is located on the left rear side of the needle drop position O when viewed from the operator (the corner 13 side of the bobbin case) , and the thread handling unit stands by toward the front. A moving knife 1 for loosening the cloth upper thread prior to the lower thread, and a fixed knife 2 for cutting the cloth upper thread and lower thread in cooperation with the moving knife 1. The yarn is controlled by the hole 5 of the cauldron upper spring 4 during cutting. The moving knife 1 is basically the same as the conventional knife, and is lengthened by a thread cutting cam shown in FIG. 3 (the numerals correspond to the sequence numbers in FIG. 4 in the cutting operation described later). Threading connection rod 6 that moves in the direction, threading connection arm 7 swingably supported by the machine frame, thread cutting rod 8, threading lever L9 swingably supported by the machine frame, and integrated therewith Rotation in the counterclockwise direction (forward movement) and rotation in the clockwise direction (backward movement) can be performed via the thread trimming lever S10 and the moving knife link 11 thus set. That is, as described later, at the time of forward movement, the cloth-side upper thread is separated first, and then the lower thread is separated. At the time of the backward movement, the lower thread and the cloth-side upper thread are hooked and cut. As shown in FIG. 2, the names of the respective parts of the moving knife 1 are as follows: 1a is a thread separating section, 1a 'is a thread separating section tip, 1b is a thread threading section, 1b' is a thread threading section tip or a thread separating section. The end, 1c is a jaw, 1d is a thread cutting blade (a blade is formed at the front edge of a hole called an eyeball), 1e is a hole into which the support shaft 3 is fitted, and 1f is a pivot of the moving knife link 11. Is a hole to be fitted. The fixed knife 2 is located above the moving knife 1,
The thread cutting blade at the tip is located slightly before the needle drop position. The cauldron upper spring 4 is fixed on the upper side of the cauldron 12 of the DP type half-turning cauldron. A specially shaped thread control hole 5 is formed at the center of the needle dropping position O. I have. The yarn cutting operation of the yarn cutting device having the above configuration is performed as shown in FIG. In addition, F in FIG. 4 is cloth, and 13 is a corner of the bobbin case. The moving knife 1 moves forward from the standby position shown in (1) as shown in (2), (3) and (4), and loosens the upper thread and the lower thread in this order. Then, after retreating as shown in (5), it moves backward as shown in (6), and the thread is hooked in the order of the lower thread and the cloth-side upper thread. As shown in (7), the moving knife 1 is further moved. Moves back and the lower thread is fed out, and the upper thread is pulled up by pulling up the balance. As shown in (8), the moving knife 1 is further moved back, and the cloth-side upper thread and lower thread are cut. In the yarn cutting device according to the present invention, in contrast to the one shown in FIG. 6, the upper yarn on the cloth side is handled more heavily than the lower yarn.
As shown in (6), the upper thread is also securely returned to the thread hooking position by thread pick-up by the shuttle, so that the lower thread and the cloth-side upper thread are hooked securely, and no yarn cutting failure occurs. The direction of the moving knife 1 entering the thread cutting is the same as that shown in FIG. 5, and as shown by the solid line in FIG. 8, the length of the lower thread that is cut and remains on the corner 13 side of the bobbin case is: It is shorter by L 2 -L 1 as compared with the one shown in FIG. That is, since the bobbin is not unnecessarily fed out, bobbin idling is reduced, and a decrease in sewing quality can be prevented. Since the present invention is configured as described above, it has the following effects. That is, in a sewing machine having a DP type half-turn hook, a thread cutting device having stable cutting performance without lowering of sewing quality or defective cutting can be obtained.
