Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an oil strainer and, more particularly, to an improvement in an oil strainer for processing hydraulic oil in an automatic transmission of a vehicle. 2. Description of the Related Art In an automatic transmission utilizing a torque converter widely used in vehicles, a valve chamber C accommodating various control valves is provided below a transmission gear casing A as shown in FIG. An oil pan B containing hydraulic oil is mounted so as to surround it, and the hydraulic oil is sucked up by a pump P in a casing A to operate a torque converter T and operate a valve. An oil strainer S is disposed below the chamber C to constantly filter the circulating hydraulic oil. As the oil strainer S, as shown in FIG. 7, a plate-shaped upper body 1 of a square or elliptical shape having an upwardly directed outlet pipe 1a mounted on a valve chamber C at one side thereof is provided. And a downwardly facing inlet pipe 2a on the other side.
In order to reduce the weight of the apparatus, the dish-shaped lower body 2 provided with a plate is made of a heat-resistant synthetic resin such as polyamide or fluorine.
A thin filter medium 3 made of wire mesh, filter paper, or non-woven fabric of about mesh is provided, and the thin filter medium 3 is restrained by a large number of projections 1b provided on the lower surface of the upper body 1, while its peripheral edge is formed by the upper body 1. In the case of wire mesh, it is welded by high frequency, on filter paper or non-woven fabric, it is welded by ultrasonic waves, and then the upper and lower bodies 1 and 2 are friction welded to the opposite peripheral portions. ing. When the oil strainer is used, the oil in the oil pan B is reduced by the operation of the oil pump P connected to the outlet pipe 1a.
From the inlet pipe 2a into the lower body 2, is filtered by traversing the thin filter medium, and is sent to the lubrication unit and the control unit of the apparatus through the outlet pipe 1a. Since the cross section is considerably smaller than the area of the filter medium 3 (about 1/15 to 1/20 ) , oil concentrates on the lower part of the outlet pipe 1a. [0005] In the conventional oil strainer described above, since there is nothing to suppress the filter medium 3 at the lower portion of the outlet pipe 1a, the filter medium is easily deformed by the pressure of the oil. It is deformed and cracks or breaks, causing trouble in the transmission. Accordingly, the present invention provides an oil strainer made of synthetic resin for use in an automatic transmission of a vehicle, which prevents a thin filter medium from being deformed, cracked, or broken at a lower portion of an outlet pipe, and causes a trouble on the transmission side. The task is to make sure that there is no such thing. The invention based on the above-mentioned object is to provide a synthetic resin dish having an upward outlet pipe on one side and a number of downward projections of a predetermined height on the inner surface. Upper body, a synthetic resin dish-shaped lower body having an inlet pipe on the other side, and a wire mesh or
The filter paper, consists of a thin plate-like filter material such as a nonwoven fabric, the opposing peripheral edge portions of the upper and lower body as an oil strainer for welding the body to the periphery of the filter media with welded coupling, to the lower inlet portion of the outlet pipe of the upper body A rib swelling into the body across the inlet is provided, and one or more small downward projections are formed on the lower surface of the rib, and the surface of the filter medium is brought into contact with the projection on the inner surface of the body, and It is characterized in that it comes into contact with a small prong. FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 show an example of an oil strainer S according to the present invention.
A dish-shaped upper body 11 having an appropriate shape such as an ellipse or an arc and having an upwardly directed outlet pipe 11a on one side, and a dish-shaped lower body 12 having the same shape and having a downwardly directed inlet pipe 12a on the other side. Is made of a heat-resistant and strong synthetic resin such as a polyamide-based resin or a fluorine-based resin to which a glass fiber is added. On the inner surface of the upper body 11, a large number of downward projections 11b having a predetermined height are provided. Is formed with an inner step 11c having the same height as the protrusion 11b. At the lower end of the outlet pipe 11a, a narrow rib 1 bulging into the body across the inlet.
4 are provided in a one-letter shape, and a small downward projection 14a is formed on the lower surface of the center portion of the rib 14, and the sum of the swelling height of the rib 14 and the height of the small projection 14a is obtained. , Approximately equal to the height of the protrusion 11b on the inner surface of the body. [0010] Two meshes are formed inside the upper body 11.
A thin metal filter 13 such as a stainless steel or brass wire mesh or filter paper or non-woven fabric of about 00 mesh to 300 mesh is brought into contact with the lower surface of the many projections 11b and the small projections 14a below the ribs. The peripheral edge is welded to the inner step 11c around the body by high frequency in the wire mesh, and welded by ultrasonic in the filter paper and nonwoven fabric.
Next, the lower body 12 is disposed below the upper body 11 so as to face each other, and their butted peripheral edges are friction-welded to form one oil strainer S. Then, the outlet pipe 11a is connected to the oil pan B
The oil strainer S is fitted to the passage portion of the valve chamber C disposed therein with a packing material interposed therebetween.
Used mounted on the underside of the. Therefore, as described above, the oil in the oil pan flows into the body from the inlet pipe 12a of the lower body 12 by the operation of the oil pump, and is filtered by traversing the thin plate-shaped filter material 13 to be filtered out of the outlet pipe. 11a, the oil is sent to the lubrication unit and the control unit of the transmission. In the process, the oil concentrates on the lower part of the outlet pipe 11a, and a strong oil pressure is applied on the lower side of the filter medium 13 in that part. However, since the thin plate-shaped filter medium 13 is in contact with the small protrusion 14a on the lower surface of the central portion of the one-shaped rib 14 below the outlet pipe 11a, the gap between the filter medium 13 and the rib 14 is maintained, Is prevented, and the deformation of the filter medium 13 is suppressed. 3 and 4, ribs 14 are provided in the lower inlet portion of the outlet pipe 11a so as to protrude in a cross shape, and small projections 14a are provided at regular intervals on the lower surfaces of the vertical and horizontal ribs 14, respectively. FIG. 5 shows an example in which a pair of ribs 14 are provided in the lower inlet portion of the outlet pipe 11a, and small protrusions 14a are formed on the lower surfaces of the three ribs 14, respectively. It is an example in which a plurality of small protrusions 14a are provided on the lower surface of the rib at intervals as described above, so that the deformation of the thin plate-shaped filter medium 13 can be more reliably prevented, Moreover, the flow of oil can be made smooth by reducing the flow resistance. In the above-described example, the filter medium 13 is welded to the inner step 11c of the upper body 11, and then the upper and lower bodies 11, 12 are joined together. May be sandwiched between the peripheral portions of the bodies 11 and 12 so that the upper and lower bodies are welded together with the upper and lower bodies in a manner suitable for the material of the filter medium. According to the present invention, there is provided a synthetic resin dish-shaped upper body having an upwardly directed outlet pipe on one side and a plurality of downwardly projecting protrusions having a predetermined height on the inner surface, and an inlet on the other side. pie
Welded to the synthetic resin dish-shaped lower body having flop, wire mesh or filter paper is disposed therebetween body <br/>, Ri Do from a thin plate of filter material such as a nonwoven fabric, the opposing peripheral edge portions of the upper and lower body Join
