輪に装着される離脱防止リングの改良に関する。

【従来の技術】管路で軸方向引張力又は内圧の作用する
部分の管継手は、挿口の抜出しを防止するため離脱防止
策を講じる必要がある。

流によってスラスト軸力が発生し、これが管路を屈曲部
外側へ向け移動させる力となり、管内水圧と合わせ隣接
する管継手に抜出力を与える。

用する場合もある。従って、管路の屈曲部ではコンクリ
ート基礎などで管を固定し上記のような外力に対抗さ
せ、隣接する管継手部に引抜力が及ばないようにされ
る。
【0005】しかしながら、埋設物が輻輳する都市部な
どでは管路の屈曲部に上記したコンクリート構造物を構
築することが困難で、屈曲部に隣接する管継手自体に離
脱防止機能を持たせることが必要となる。
【0006】このような目的を達成するため、図5に示
すような離脱防止型継ぎ輪が知られている。上記離脱防
止型継ぎ輪は、ダクタイル鋳鉄管などによって成形され
た両受口管Aの内部に、離脱防止リングBを挿入し、離
脱防止リングBの内面周方向に設けた複数の突起C…C
に、管挿口Dの挿口先端部突起Eを係合させて離脱防止
を図るもので、通常のスラスト軸力などによる引抜力に
対しては突起Cと挿口先端部突起Eとの係合で抜出防止
を図り、地震などによる強力な軸方向外力が作用した場
合は、図6に示すように挿口先端部突起Eが一つの突起
を乗り越えて過大な応力が挿口Dや受口管Aに生じるの
を防止し、次いで次の突起Cで抜け出しを防止し最終的
には受口内面に嵌入したロックリングFで抜出防止がで
きるようにしたものである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】ところで、上記におい
て、離脱防止リングBは通常プラスチック製とされてい
たため材質強度が低く、十分な抜け出し防止に対する抗
力を発揮できない場合がある欠点があった。
【0008】また、プラスチック製離脱防止リングの場
合耐熱強度が低くまた経年劣化の問題もあり長期間経過
した後は抜け出し防止効果が殆どなくなってしまう懸念
もあった。
【0009】さらに、プラスチック製離脱防止リングは
成形に際しては射出成形型など成形装置を必要とするの
で、大量需要がある場合はともかく、需要の少ない特殊
な管継手に対する離脱防止リングの場合は製造コストが
嵩み、非常に高価となるといった問題もあった。
【0010】この発明は、上記問題点を解消することを
目的としてなされたものであり、強度的に強く、また経
年劣化もない、安価に製造できる離脱防止リングを提供
することを目的としてなされたものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】すなわち、この発明の離
脱防止リングは、帯状の薄金属板の両端を接合すること
なく突き合わせて筒状に湾曲成形されたリング本体に、
挿口端に形成された挿口突起に引っかかり挿口の抜け出
しを防ぐよう、折れ線を周方向に沿わせてコ字状舌片が
周方向に適宜間隔隔てて内径方向へ折り起こされ、かつ
この周方向の舌片列が軸方向に複数列設けられて成るこ
とを特徴とするものである。

明する。図1はこの発明の離脱防止リングの一実施の形
態を示す正面図、図2は図1のY−Y線矢視端面図、図
3はコ字状舌片の先端部の拡大断面図である。

金属板の両端2、2を接合することなく突き合わせて筒
状に湾曲成形されたリング本体3に、図4に示すように
