【産業上の利用分野】本発明は道路等に設置される防護
柵のビーム取付構造に関するものである。

【従来の技術】従来の防護柵において支柱にビームを取
付けるには、例えば図5に示される如く、支柱a側面に
穿設された取付孔bにビームc端部を挿通し、その挿通
したビームc端部を支柱a内で止めピンdにより係止し
て取り付けていた。そして前記取付孔bは、ビームc端
部が容易に挿通されるように、また上下方向、左右方向
に角度変更を伴ってビームcを取付ける際にも対処でき
るように、ビームc端部の外形より多少大径となされて
いる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】しかしながら上記の如
き防護柵のビーム取付構造には、次のような問題があっ
た。すなわち支柱の取付孔に直接ビーム端部が直接挿通
され、しかも前記取付孔は何ら処理がなされていないた
め、取付孔の端縁が外観に現れると共に取付孔とビーム
端部との間に生じた隙間が見苦しく、また特に角度変更
を伴ってビームを取付ける際には前記隙間が大きく目立
ち、外観上好ましいものではなかった。また前記隙間に
子供が指を突っ込んだり、取付孔の端縁で手を切ること
も考えられ、危険でもあった。
【0004】そこで本発明は、上記の如き問題点を解決
し、支柱とビームとの取付構造における美観を向上さ
せ、且つ危険のない防護柵のビーム取付構造を提供せん
とするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】上記目的を達成するため
に、本発明は次のような構成としている。すなわち本発
明に係る防護柵のビーム取付構造は、管状支柱の側面に
設けられた取付孔に挿通されたブラケットの筒状部外周
面に支柱内より固定部材が嵌着されてブラケットが支柱
側面に取付られ、このブラケットの筒状部内にビーム端
部が挿通されると共に挿通されたビーム端部の外周面が
筒状部内面に形成された突起に当接されてビームが支柱
に取付られ、ブラケットの筒状部とこの筒状部の外周面
に嵌着される固定部材の環状部とは、それぞれ弾性変形
可能なように、適宜間隔で切り欠かれてスリットが形成
されていることを特徴とするものである。

【作用】本発明によれば、支柱の取付孔にブラケットが
取付られ、該ブラケットを介して ビーム端部が支柱に
取付られているので、支柱取付孔の端縁が外観に直接現
れることがなく美観を向上され、また支柱取付孔の端縁
で手を切ることもない。またビーム端部が挿通されるブ
ラケットの筒状部内面には突起が形成され、挿通された
ビーム端部の外周面を該突起とのみ当接させているの
で、ビーム端部が容易に挿通されると共に上下方向、左
右方向に角度変更を伴ってビームを取付ける際にも対処
でき、しかも筒状部内面とビーム端部との間の隙間が突
起の存在により目立ちにくい。

【実施例】以下に本発明の実施例につき図面に基づき具
体的に説明する。
【0008】図1は本発明の一実施例を示す側面図、図
2は図1の実施例の断面図、図3(1)は図1に使用さ
れたブラケットの平面図、(2)はその一部切欠側面
図、図4(1)は図1に使用された固定部材の平面図、

され、その隣接する支柱1間にビーム2が取付けられる
ものであり、本実施例では側面に取付孔11が穿設さ
れ、断面がほぼ矩形の管状体からなり、上部にはキャッ
プ12が嵌挿されている。該支柱1は一般に鋼管やアル
ミニウム管、又はそれらの外周に合成樹脂が塗装又は被
覆されたもの等から作製される。またビーム2は断面が
ほぼ円形のパイプからなり、支柱1と同様に鋼管やアル
ミニウム管、又はそれらの外周に合成樹脂が塗装又は被
覆されたもの等から作製される。なお上下に取付けられ
たビーム2間に適宜縦桟やパネルが取付られていてもよ
い。
【0010】ブラケット3は、前記支柱1の取付孔11
に挿通され内部にビーム2端部を挿通しうる筒状部31
と、該筒状部31の基端に形成され支柱1側面に当接さ
れる鍔部32とからなる中空状のものであり、一般にポ
リカーボネートの如き合成樹脂やアルミ合金の如き金属
から作製されるものである。
【0011】固定部材4は、支柱1の取付孔11に挿通
されたブラケット3の筒状部31外周面に嵌着され、ブ
ラケット3を支柱1の側面に取付るためのものであっ
て、筒状部31外周面に嵌着される環状部41と、支柱
1内面に当接され前記環状部41先端に形成された鍔部
42とからなり、ブラケット3と同様に一般にポリカー
ボネートの如き合成樹脂やアルミ合金の如き金属から作
製されるものである。

1外周面に嵌着させるべく、本実施例では 固定部材4
の環状部41内周面に奥広がりのテーパー面43が形成
されると共に、筒状部31外周面にはそのテーパー面4
3に対応して逆テーパ面33が形成され、また該筒状部
31と環状部41とは、それぞれ弾性変形可能なよう
に、適宜間隔で切り欠かれてスリット34,44が形成
されている。そしてブラケット3の筒状部31外周面に
支柱1内より固定部材4の環状部41をあてがって押圧
してやれば、筒状部31と環状部41とがそれぞれスリ
ット34,44により弾性変形され、環状部41内周面
のテーパー面43と筒状部31外周面の逆テーパ面33
が係合され、筒状部31外周面に固定部材4が嵌着され
る。なおブラケット3の筒状部31外周面に固定部材4
が嵌着された状態で、ブラケット3の鍔部32内面と固
定部材4の鍔部42外面との間隔を支柱1の肉厚より若
干小さくすると共に、ブラケット3の鍔部32断面が支
柱1側に彎曲されて弾性変形可能なようになされておれ
ば、その弾性力により、ブラケット3が強固に支柱1側
面に取付られるので好ましい。
【0013】かようにして支柱1側面に取付られるブラ
ケット3の筒状部31の内径はビーム2端部外形より若
干大きくなされると共に、該筒状部31内面には突起3

突起35の高さはほぼビーム2端部が挿通される程度の
高さとなされ、ブラケット3にビーム2端部が挿通され
ると、挿通されたビーム2端部の外周面が前記突起35
に当接されるようになされている。なお前記突起35は
環状に形成されていてもよい。

ム2が抜け落ちるのを防止するための止めピンであり、
該止めピン5は線材が逆L字形状に曲折されたものから
作製され、ビーム2端部に穿設された貫通孔21に挿入
