【発明の詳細な説明】

【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、道路や橋梁等の屋
外に立設される支柱に於いて、支柱側壁に開口部が設け
られ、この開口部に蓋が取付けられた支柱の開口部構造
に関する。

【従来の技術】従来の技術について図面を基に説明す
る。Aは支柱でありこの支柱Aの側壁に開口部Bが設け
られ、この開口部Bに蓋Cが取付けられる構造であり、
前記開口部Bの上下もしくは左右の縁部近傍に雌ネジD
が螺設され、前記蓋Cにはビス孔が穿設されこのビス孔
にビスEが挿通され蓋Cと支柱Aが螺着されたものが知
られていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】しかしながら上記の如
き構造では、蓋を取付けたり取り外したりするとき、蓋
が落とされる恐れがあり、特に高所での作業時、地上の
人間に危害を及ぼす恐れがあった。又、蓋を取り外した
後、蓋を置いておく場所が必要で、作業空間が狭い時等
作業が困難であった。
【0004】そこで本発明は従来の欠点に鑑み鋭意研究
の結果、施工性が良く、安全性に優れた支柱の開口部構
造を提供せんとするものである。
【課題を解決するための手段】本発明支柱の開口部構造
は上縁部に切り欠き部が形成された開口部が側面に設け
られた支柱と、上縁部近傍にネジ孔が穿設された蓋と、
雌ネジが螺設され、支柱内での回動が規制された取付金
具からなり、蓋と取付金具が前記切り欠き部に挿通され
たボルトで取付けられ、支柱が蓋と取付金具に挟まれ取
付けられたもので上部のボルトが緩められるだけで蓋が
あけられるので、蓋が支柱と分離されず、蓋を開けて作
業する時蓋を別に保管する必要がなく、高所で作業する
時等蓋を落とす心配がない。

【発明の実施の形態】以下図面を参照しながら本発明の
実施形態の一例に付いて説明する。図面に於いて、1は
支柱であって、通常、鋼管やアルミ管等の金属管で作製
される。支柱1の側面には上縁部に切り欠き部12が形
成された開口部11が設けられている。又、開口部11
下縁部中央近傍には雌ネジ13が設けられている。2は
蓋であり、その上縁部中央近傍にはネジ孔21が下縁部
中央近傍にはネジ孔22が前記支柱1の切り欠き部12
と雌ネジ13のピッチに対応したピッチで設けられてい
る。蓋2の左右両縁部はその内寸が支柱1の外寸法に対
応するように略直角に折曲されている。蓋2は支柱1の
開口部11を覆い支柱1の側面に被せられ、その下部の
ネジ孔22と雌ネジ13、その上部のネジ孔21と前記
切り欠き部12及び取付金具3に穿設された雌ネジ31
に夫夫ボルトが挿通され、支柱に螺着される。支柱1と
蓋2の間、前記開口部11の外縁全周に亘って弾性体よ
りなるガスケット6が挟まれれば開口部から水等が入り
にくく好ましい。取付金具4はその外寸mが前記支柱の
開口部内寸kより小寸法となされ、その対角寸法nが前
記支柱の側壁内寸lより大寸法となるようその左右両端
部を略直角に折曲され、その中央に雌ネジが設けられて
いる。本実施例では取付金具3中央にタップ加工がなさ
れ雌ネジ31となされているが、ネジ外径より稍々大き
な孔を穿設し、ナットを取付けて雌ネジ31としても良
い。取付金具3はその対角寸法nが支柱側壁内寸lより
大きいのでボルトを回したときボルトと一緒に回転する
ことがない。
【0006】次に蓋2の開閉について説明をする。蓋2
を開ける時は先ず、蓋2の下部のボルト42を緩めて抜
き、次に、上部のボルト41を緩めると蓋2は自重で下
へ下がり、ボルトが開口部11の下縁部に引っかかって
止まる。上部のボルト41は緩められるだけで蓋2があ
けられるので、蓋2が支柱1と分離されず、蓋2を開け
て作業する時蓋2を別に保管する必要がなく、高所で作
業する時など蓋2を落とす心配がない。前記上部のボル
ト41の端部にバネ板ナット7やEリング等が嵌着され
ていれば、このボルト41を緩めたときボルト41が取
付金具3から脱落することがなく好ましい。又、蓋2を
閉める時は蓋2が持ち上げられ開口部11の上縁部に形
成された切り欠き部12に上部のボルト41が当てら
れ、このボルト41が前記取付金具3に螺設された雌ネ
ジ31に挿通締結され、蓋2が仮止めされ、下部ボルト
42が前記蓋2に穿設されたネジ孔22を貫通して、開
口部11下縁部近傍に設けられた雌ネジ13に螺入され
前記蓋2が前記支柱1に螺着される。

たが、支柱の断面形状は角形に限るものではなく、この
