However, in the conventional example shown in FIG. 6, since the anti-slip member 1'projects from the upper surface of the tread plate 2, there is a risk of tripping the foot as shown in FIG. 6 (b). Also, since the anti-slip member 1'is attached along the corners, the attachment strength is weak and peeling may occur when a load is applied, and there is a risk that the anti-slip member 1'will slip off. Further, in the conventional example shown in FIG. 7, since the anti-slip member 1 ″ is embedded in the mounting groove 3 ″, there is no danger of peeling, but there is a protrusion of about 1.5 mm on the surface above the anti-slip member ″. There is a problem that causes a trip of the foot.

1. A lateral piece extending on both sides is provided with a mounting groove having a substantially T-shaped cross section, which is formed on the front part of the upper surface of the tread plate, the lateral groove extending on both sides in the longitudinal direction and the vertical groove recessed downward in the center. And a non-slip member made of an elastic material having a substantially T-shaped cross section, which is composed of a central vertical piece, is embedded in the mounting groove so that the vertical piece is inserted into the vertical groove and the horizontal piece is inserted into the horizontal groove. The press-fitting part provided on the lower part of the vertical piece of the non-slip member is press-fitted into the vertical groove of the mounting groove, and the leg parts provided on both sides of the horizontal piece of the non-slip member are brought into contact with the bottom surface of the lateral groove of the mounting groove to form a horizontal piece. A space is formed between the bottom surface of the lateral groove and the anti-slip member so that the anti-slip member can sink downward when a load is applied to the anti-slip member.
