右に且つそれぞれ斜め後ろ下方に延ばした前部傾斜部
と、更に後方にほぼ水平に延ばした水平部と、この水平
部の後端から斜め後ろ上方に延ばした後部傾斜部とから
構成し、この車体フレームに収納ボックスを取付け、こ
の収納ボックスの後方に燃料タンクを配置した自動二輪
車であって、前記燃料タンクの前方に、前記収納ボック
スの後部上部を後方へ突出させたバッテリ収納部を一体
に形成し、当該バッテリ収納部は、側面視で上下縦長に
配置するとともに平面視で左右幅広とし、収納ボックス
の下方から後輪の上方へリヤフェンダを延ばし、これら
のリヤフェンダ、収納ボックス及びバッテリ収納部で囲
む空間にバッテリ収納部から下方へ遮蔽壁を突出させた
自動二輪車の収納ボックス構造において、 前記バッテリ収納部に収納したバッテリを覆うリッド
を、前記収納ボックスに開閉可能に取付け、このリッド
の開閉の支点になる穴部をバッテリ収納部の周囲の壁に
設け、この穴部へ雨水等が飛散するのを防止する前記遮
蔽壁を収納ボックスから突出させたことを特徴とする自
動二輪車の収納ボックス構造。1.
