Description: BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a steering wheel of an automobile, in which gas is generated from an inflator by an impact, flows into an airbag, and tears a tear line of a cover body instantaneously. The present invention relates to an airbag device in which an airbag is deployed to protect a human body. 2. Description of the Related Art As shown in FIG. 8, in a conventional airbag apparatus, two sides of an intersection of both sides of an H-shaped tear line are attached with rivets 11, 11 to attach a side wall 10a of a cover body 10 to a base plate. It was fixed. In the above prior art, since the number of attachment points is two, gas is generated as shown in FIGS. 9 to 12, and the tear line of the cover body 10 is torn by the expansion force. At this time, since the two rivets 11, 11 of the side wall 10a of the cover body 10 are fixed to the base plate, the mounting leg of the side wall 10a between the rivets 11, 11 is deformed upward as shown in FIG. The H-shaped tear line of FIG. 1 is cleaved, and then the deformation returns to its original state, so that the time required for the cleaving to be completed is increased by the amount of deformation. As a result, the primary peak pressure of the airbag increases as shown in FIG. There has been a problem that the pressure is reduced, the restraining force of the crew is reduced, and the danger is increased. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to solve the conventional problems by making the attachment point of the airbag to the base plate coincide with the direction of cleavage and preventing the attachment portion of the cover from being deformed. . [0005] In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a cover body having an H-shaped tear line and accommodating a normally folded airbag, and a gas inlet of the airbag. an airbag device comprising a base plate for fixing the, and wherein immediately below or near the sidewalls on both sides of the intersection below the H-shaped tear line, an attachment point for securing the base plate and the cover body is provided one position I do. The gas generated in the inflator by the collision of the vehicle flows into the airbag and the cover expands. However, since the cover is attached to the base plate at a point corresponding to the cleavage direction, the cover mounting leg is provided. It is possible to shorten the tearing time without sagging, to increase the maximum airbag pressure holding time, and to improve the restraint of the occupant. Next, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. The airbag device includes a cover 1, a base plate 2, an airbag 3, an inflator 4, and the like. The periphery of the gas inlet from the inflator 4 is fixed to the base plate 2 with rivets or the like. It is normally stored in the cover body 1 in a folded state, and when a vehicle collides, gas is generated from the inflator 4 and flows into the airbag 3, which is split from the tear line 5 of the airbag 3 to deploy the airbag 3. It is supposed to. According to the present invention, in the above-mentioned airbag apparatus, an attachment point 6 for fixing the cover body 1 and the base plate 2 is provided immediately below or near the intersection 5a on both sides of the H-shaped tear line 5, and a rivet or the like is provided. It is fixed with. The airbag device assembled in this manner is fixed to the steering wheel via a bracket 7 with screws 8. Next, the operation will be described. At the time of collision, when gas flows from the inflator 4 into the airbag 3, the upper surface of the cover 1 is inflated by gas pressure as shown in FIGS.
Since the cover body 1 and the base plate 2 are mounted at the mounting points 6 that coincide with the cleavage direction, no bending occurs in the mounting portion of the cover body 1, as shown in FIG. 13A as compared with the conventional device shown in FIG. 13B. Can shorten the cleavage time
The next peak pressure can be reduced, and the maximum pressure holding time of the airbag can be extended to improve the restraint of the crew. According to the present invention, there is provided an airbag apparatus comprising a cover body having an H-shaped tear line and accommodating a normally folded airbag, and a base plate for fixing a gas inlet of the airbag. , One attachment point for fixing the cover body and the base plate is provided immediately below or near the side wall below the intersection on both sides of the H-shaped tear line. Since there is only one location, the assembly is simple and inexpensive, and the tearing time is short, so that the maximum pressure holding time of the airbag can be lengthened as shown in FIG. 13A.
