Further, as the freshness decreases, the water retention capacity of the food also decreases, the amount of exudate called so-called drip increases, food self-digestion, bacterial multiplication, lipid oxidation, discoloration, etc. occur, further promoting the quality deterioration. In recent years, various dehydration sheets have been proposed in which a powdery granular water-absorbent resin and a semipermeable membrane are combined in order to reduce water content in foods without changing the taste and to remove drip generated. However, these dehydration sheets must use a powdery granular water-absorbent resin or liquid saccharide, wrap them at least on one side as a semipermeable membrane, and seal the periphery of the semipermeable membrane. Therefore, the production requires special technology and equipment, resulting in a high cost product. Further, since the sheet is shipped as a sheet with the peripheral portion sealed, the sheet size is limited, and the user is forced to select a sheet having a size close to the desired size. In order to solve these problems, an absorbent sheet comprising powdery and granular edible saccharides sandwiched and laminated between a semipermeable membrane and a water-absorbing porous sheet (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. Hei 4 (1998) -264242).
No. 71443).

Furthermore, the manufacturing process requires two steps of manufacturing the porous sheet and laminating the semipermeable membrane, which is a factor of cost increase. The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide an absorbent sheet that suppresses the fall of powdery edible sugars from the cut end surface and that is economically advantageous.

The water-absorbent sheet of the present invention comprises the above-mentioned base material and a semipermeable membrane bonded to each other within a range not impairing water permeability. When a food is placed on the semipermeable membrane of the absorbent sheet of the present invention, part of the water in the food swells the semipermeable membrane and permeates. Due to the permeated water, the granular edible sugar becomes a concentrated aqueous solution state, and further absorbs water due to the strong osmotic action. This water absorption ability is maintained until there is no difference in osmotic pressure between the food and the aqueous saccharide solution. The saccharide aqueous solution generated by this water absorption is absorbed and retained by the hydrophilic fibers of the base material, and the food and drip are completely separated through the semipermeable membrane, so that the freshness is retained.

It is obtained by a method of spraying the edible saccharide of (1), further laminating a semipermeable membrane on a substrate having a hydrophilic fiber aggregate laminated thereon, and then drying and integrating with a dryer. Further, since the absorbent sheet of the present invention has the above-described structure and manufacturing method, powder particles do not fall off even if it is freely cut, and it can be manufactured in a batch process, which is economically advantageous.

On the surface of the fiber web on which the edible sugars have been sprinkled, an absorbent paper (basis weight: 40 g / m 2 ) which has been preliminarily made as a fiber aggregate is superposed, and a regular cellophane paper (Nimura Kagaku Co. PT # 300) was put into a dryer, dried at a temperature of 140 ° C., and integrated to obtain a single absorbent sheet having edible sugars fixed inside the substrate. . The obtained sheet is cut into 10 × 10 cm and vertically hung in a horizontal circular vibration automatic vibration machine (radius; 15 mm, vibration frequency; 150 cycles / minute), and the weight of the fallen powder particles after 30 minutes of vibration is measured. did. Moreover, the obtained absorbent sheet was cut into 10 × 20 cm, a commercially available yellowtail fillet was placed on the cut sheet, vacuum-packed, and then allowed to stand in a refrigerator at 5 ° C., and the water-absorbent weight of the water-absorbent sheet was measured with time. did.
