Description: BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention provides a circuit board for a battery pack having a plurality of secondary batteries and circuits necessary for controlling charging and discharging of the secondary batteries. Battery pack. [0002] Devices using a battery as a power source are widely used in small or portable devices. In these devices, when a secondary battery is used, a detachable battery pack according to a required power supply capacity is used. A battery pack is connected to a plurality of cells in a container made of a member made of an electrically insulating synthetic resin or the like, and the cells are conductively connected so that a desired voltage or current can be output. Alternatively, it has a circuit board for a battery pack having a circuit for protection during discharge and the like. [0003] The circuit board for a battery pack has various electronic components mounted on the substrate, and therefore, a recess for a large electronic component is formed on the wall surface of the battery pack, or a space between a plurality of batteries is formed. It has been proposed to effectively utilize the space of the battery pack by a method such as disposing the battery pack in a battery pack. However,
In such a method, unevenness is formed on the battery pack by the escape recess, or a flexible substrate used as a circuit board is deformed by bending, so that a force is applied to a soldered portion or an electronic component, and reliability is improved. Could cause problems. In Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. Hei 7-22007, as shown in FIG. 3, in a battery pack 1 having a plurality of secondary batteries, a plurality of cylindrical secondary batteries 2 are connected to a lead plate. 3, a flexible printed circuit board 4 mounted on the secondary battery,
The electronic components 5 are mounted, these are put in the lower container 6B of the battery pack, and are covered with the upper lid 7 to form the battery pack. Then, the electronic component 5 is mounted on the flexible portion 9 formed by providing the slit 8 on the flexible printed circuit board 4, and the electronic component is positioned in the space formed between the batteries to effectively use the space inside the battery pack. Battery packs have been proposed. However, even in such a method, the circuit board required for battery charge / discharge control is still located between the pack inner wall surface and occupies the space inside the pack, and also needs to be connected to the secondary battery and the external circuit. To be performed on a flexible printed circuit board,
The flexible printed circuit board has a problem that it requires an area of a connection portion and that the number of assembling steps is large in the assembling step of the battery pack. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to provide a battery pack having a high capacity utilization factor and a small external shape. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a battery pack having a plurality of cylindrical secondary batteries, wherein the battery pack circuit board is adjacent to the curved surface of the adjacent cylindrical secondary battery. The conductive connection tabs of the circuit board exist only in a space formed between the curved surface of the cylindrical secondary battery and a plane contacting the curved surface of the cylindrical secondary battery, and are solved by the battery pack disposed on the surface of the cylindrical secondary battery. can do. The conductive connection tab of the circuit board is a conductive tab connected to the electrode terminal of the secondary battery, an external connection tab, and a battery pack arranged on the surface of the secondary battery. Further, the battery pack has a conductive connection tab connected to the circuit board as an external connection terminal of the battery pack. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION A battery pack according to the present invention is a battery pack provided with a plurality of cylindrical secondary batteries, which is used for installing and electrically connecting a circuit board for a battery pack such as battery charge / discharge control means. The present invention relates to a battery pack having features. The battery pack is provided with a battery pack circuit board together with a secondary battery. The battery pack circuit board, together with charge / discharge control means indispensable for charging / discharging the secondary battery, short-circuits the external terminals when the secondary battery is left, abnormal heat generation of the battery, battery deterioration, leakage of battery electrolyte, etc. The battery protection measures provided to protect the battery and the battery-powered equipment from any dangerous situations described above, or various situations that may occur in the secondary battery such as grasping the remaining capacity of the battery. It is composed of a circuit for coping and an electronic circuit necessary for using the secondary battery for grasping the state of the battery.
In the present invention, the battery pack circuit board indispensable for the battery pack is arranged only in the space formed by the curved surface of the adjacent cylindrical secondary battery, and the battery pack circuit board and the secondary battery or the external circuit are electrically connected. The conductive connection tabs to be connected are arranged on the surface of the secondary battery, which improves the volumetric efficiency and facilitates the assembly of the battery pack. The present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a diagram illustrating a battery pack according to an embodiment of the present invention, and is a perspective view. The battery pack 1 has a plurality of cylindrical secondary batteries 2, and the battery pack circuit board 10 includes a curved surface of an adjacent cylindrical secondary battery 2 and a curved surface of an adjacent secondary battery 2. Are arranged in a space formed between the plane and the plane that is in contact with. The terminals of adjacent cylindrical secondary batteries are connected in series by conductive connection tabs (not shown), and the positive electrode tab 13 and the negative electrode tab 14 connected to the positive electrode terminal 11 of the battery and the negative electrode terminal 12 of the battery are connected to each other. The battery-side positive electrode tab 15 and the battery-side negative electrode tab 16 extending from the circuit board 10 are conductively connected on the battery surface. A conductive connection tab extending from the circuit board 10 and comprising a device-side positive electrode tab 17 and a device-side negative electrode tab 18 is disposed on the battery surface, and is conductively connected to an external connection terminal (not shown) of the battery pack. ing. Each of the tabs 15, 16, 17 and 18 extending from the circuit board may be partially plated with a good material as a contact such as gold plating and used as an external connection terminal of the battery pack. The tabs of the positive electrode and the negative electrode extending from the circuit board to the surface of the battery may be arranged after the pedestal 19 is attached to the surface of the battery to deal with deformation of the tab. The pedestal 19 is particularly effective when a part of each tab extending from the circuit board is used as an external connection terminal, since accurate positioning is possible. The battery core pack 20 manufactured as described above is placed in the lower container 6 and covered with an upper cover (not shown) to manufacture a battery pack. The circuit board 10 used in the battery pack of the present invention may be either a flexible printed board made of a flexible member or a non-flexible board. Also, as shown in the figure, the secondary battery may have a V-shape that matches the shape formed by the curved surface of the adjacent secondary battery. In the battery pack of the present invention, tabs from the circuit board can be used as connection terminals, so that there is no need to separately provide connection terminals on the board, so that the manufacturing process can be simplified and the circuit board can be used. With the reduction of the connection points or connection areas in the above, the area required as a circuit board can be reduced. Furthermore, the unevenness on the surface of the battery pack is eliminated, and the degree of freedom in design is improved.
