る防水パッキンとを含む防水コネクタにおいて、前記防
水キャップが前記開口部を覆う時と前記所定部分と嵌合
する時とで、前記ベースフードに対して圧接する前記防
水パッキンの面が異なるようにしたことを特徴とする防

3、メインリンク34、及び第1乃至第3のピン35,
36,37によってベースフード2に取り付けられてい
る。サブリンク33は、略長円形であり、その一端部を
第1のピン35によってベースフード2に回動自在に連
結され、他端部を第2のピン36によってメインリンク
34の一端部に回動自在に連結されている。メインリン
ク34は、略六角形状をしており、図1(b)から明ら
かなように、クランク状に折曲され、その他端部を第3
のピン37によって防水キャップ3に回動自在に連結さ
れてる。これにより、防水キャップ3は、ベースフード
2に移動自在に取り付けられ、図4の2点鎖線で示すよ
うに、開口部20と嵌合部22の2か所で、ベースフー
ド2に対して嵌脱自在と成っている。 【0010】防水パッキン4は、弾性体から成り、全体

することにより、防水パッキン4は、装着面31上で固
定されている。この防水パッキン4は、防水キャップ3
を開口部20或いは嵌合部22に嵌合させた状態の時、
防水キャップ3とベースフード2との間に圧縮された状
態で介在することになり、また、防水キャップ3を開口
部20に嵌合させた場合、防水パッキン4は、ベースフ
ード2と防水キャップ3の開口部20との間を水密状態
に封止する。また、防水パッキン4は、防水キャップ3
を開口部20に嵌合させた時と嵌合部22に嵌合させた
時とでは、ベースフード2と圧接する面が異なるように
成っている。即ち、防水キャップ3を開口部20に嵌合
させた場合、防水パッキン4は、その楔状部40の先端
面が、開口部20のフランジ面21に圧接するように成
っており、防水キャップ3を嵌合部22に嵌合させた場
合、防水パッキン4は、そのフランジ部41が嵌合部2
2の下端面に圧接するように成っている。このように、
防水キャップ3を開口部20に嵌合させた時と嵌合部2
2に嵌合させた時とで、ベースフード2に対する圧接面
が異なるようにしたので、防水パッキン4が劣化し難く

部43の先端面がベースフードに圧接し、防水キャップ
が嵌合部に嵌合した時はフランジ部44の一面が嵌合部
