Description: BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a hood seal structure for a roof of a convertible vehicle which does not leak water. 2. Description of the Related Art A description will be given with reference to FIGS. In the figure, a symbol is used in which one of the midlines descending from the apex angle of the isosceles triangle is painted, in which the painted side represents a molded part and the non-painted side represents an extruded part. . Conventionally, the hood seal structure of the roof portion of a convertible vehicle is divided into three parts, a front hood seal 10, an intermediate hood seal 20, and a rear hood seal 30, and each of them is divided into a main body part formed of an extruded product, The ends adjacent to each other are molded and joined together at the same time. Further, in any cross section, the hollow seal portion 50 elastically contacting the door glass is integrally joined to the base portion 40, and a lip is attached to the tip of the hollow seal portion 50. 60 are protruded. [0003] In addition, adjacent portions may be formed by simply abutting adjacent end portions, or as shown in FIG.
Protruding around the end face of the hollow seal portion 50 of the hood seal,
A short cylinder 59 having an opening on one side in the longitudinal direction is connected by fitting or abutting the distal end portion of the first hollow seal portion 50. However, the conventional hood seal structure of the roof portion of the convertible vehicle has a structure in which the ends of the adjacent hollow seal portions 50, 50 are merely abutted with each other due to variations in front / rear, left / right / up / down construction. The end faces do not match each other, and a gap is generated.
In the case where the tip of the other hollow seal portion 50 is fitted into 1, if the thickness of the tip of the short cylinder 59 exceeds 0.2 mm, the sealing property deteriorates, and water leaks to the indoor side. However, there is a problem that care must be taken to prevent water from directly splashing on the connection portion. [0005] The problem to be solved is that the hood seal structure of the roof of the above-mentioned conventional convertible vehicle easily leaks water to the indoor side, and is directly connected to the connection portion when the vehicle is washed. It is necessary to be careful not to splash water. A description will be given with reference to FIGS. 4 to 11. The present invention is a hollow seal having three parts, a front hood seal 10, an intermediate hood seal 20, and a rear hood seal 30 connected in order from the front, and each section of the hollow hood is in elastic contact with the door glass 70 at the base 40. A hood seal structure for a roof portion of a convertible vehicle, wherein the first and second portions 50 and 50 are integrally connected to each other.
The horizontal stepped bridge 51 is provided on the inner surface of the end of the second hollow seal portion 50 and at a position lower than the elastic tangent to the upper edge of the door glass 70. A concave portion 52 is formed above the first hollow seal portion 51, and a through hole 53 is formed in the bridge 51 so as to communicate with the concave portion 52 and a hollow portion 54 below the bridge 51. The projection 55 inserted and fitted into the concave portion 52 of the joint 50 is integrally connected, and water is formed at the lower part of the peripheral surface of the projection 55 toward the through hole 53 of the inserted and fitted second hollow seal portion 50. Is provided with at least one groove 56 capable of flowing down. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The hood seal structure of the roof of a convertible vehicle according to the present invention is divided into three parts: a front hood seal 10, an intermediate hood seal 20, and a rear hood seal 30. In each case, the end portion is molded and integrally joined to the main body portion made of the extruded product, and further, the hollow seal portion 50 which is elastically in contact with the door glass 70 is integrally formed with the base portion 40 in each section. And a lip 60 protruding from the tip of the hollow seal portion 50. Further, the end portions of the first and second hollow seal portions 50, 50 connected to each other will be described as follows. Reference numeral 51 denotes a horizontal stepped bridge provided on the inner surface of the end of the second hollow seal portion 50 and at a position lower than an elastic tangent to the upper edge of the door glass 70, and 52 denotes a concave portion formed above the bridge 51. Therefore, the width gradually narrows toward the back. Reference numeral 53 denotes the concave portion 52 and the lower hollow portion 5 of the bridge 51, which are opened in the bridge 51.
4 is a through-hole that communicates with No. 4. The lower hollow portion 5
4 forms a part of the inside of the hollow seal portion 50. Reference numeral 55 denotes a projection integrally connected to the end face of the first hollow seal portion 50,
The height is reduced so that it can be inserted and fitted into the opening 52, and the width is gradually reduced toward the back. Reference numeral 56 denotes at least one groove provided at a lower portion of the peripheral surface of the projection 53 so that water can flow down from the projection 55 toward the through hole 53 of the recess 52.
It is inclined. The operation of the first hollow seal portion 5 will be described.
The first projection 55 is inserted and fitted into the concave portion 52 of the second hollow seal portion 50 and connected thereto, so that the door glass 70 is in elastic contact with the first and second hollow seal portions 50 and 50. so,
The connecting surfaces of the two hollow seal portions 50, 50 and the door glass 7
If water is applied directly to the bullet tangent to the top edge of 0 and the car is washed,
The water that has penetrated from the connection gap is received by the upper surface of the bridge 51, guided into the hollow portion 54 of the second hollow seal portion 50 through the groove 56 and the through hole 53, and discharged to the outside. No water leaks. Since the present invention is configured as described above,
Water is directly applied to the elastic tangent between the connection surface of the hollow seal portions 50, 50 of the adjacent hood seals and the upper edge of the door glass 70,
When the car is washed, water that has entered the gap from the connection gap is received by the upper surface of the bridge 51 and guided to the hollow portion 54 in the second hollow seal portion 50 through the groove 56 and the through hole 53,
Since it is discharged outside, there is no possibility of water leaking into the room.
